I thought Austin allegedly beat another woman recently.

That Enrique kid that washed Bradshaw's hood was Fast Eddie, a wrestler from Houston. My brother trained with him under Tugboat Taylor.

Funny story, on the way to Mardi Gras we stopped at a gas station and Eddie's car had broken down, so he was there. We gave him a ride and he stayed with us and our family that lived in Louisiana.

    How did the ropes break?

I was flicking channels I saw the ropes had broken in a match. I imagine that when that happens there are certain things they can no longer do untill their fixed.

Rhyno was just doing a normal move where he had to bounce off of the ropes and for some reason it just snapped. Both the ref and Rhyno looked shocked with the "wtf?" face. But they played it off well as the ropes were not even used afterwards where Rhyno gored Kane, with Kane kicking out and choke slamming him to finish the match. Even afterwards with the confrontation with Edge, they played it off well by avoiding the ropes.

I'm going to be perfectly honest and probably get yelled at by a lot of people.

Apart from being taken WAYYYYY to the extreme, a little part of me agrees with what Bradshaw's spouting off.

WAIT WAIT hear me out. Like I said, it's taken to extreme. However, the basis for his disagreements (welfare abuse, illegal aliens, etc.) are something I can see as being a problem with today's society. But that's just me.

BTW I've read the spoilers for this week's Smackdown and I am beginning to think the SD bookers and writers are on crack.

If shawn Michaels back is not broken and he still does his high risk moves and not bleed to death every time he has a great match it would be fun watching him, shawn michaels today is the shadow of his old self.

    Wow.

If Benoit goes over again at Backlash, I probably won't be watching for a very loooooooong time.

What do you have against Benoit? The fact that he can actually wrestle good?

He'll be back. Vince will notice that they need him and will pay him some extrodinary amount of money. Hell if Sable, Hogan, Nash, and Hall came back, I dont see anybody not come back.

And yea, I all for Benoit. Better than having Triple H for the title. I was just pissed that Benoit, the FREAKING CHAMPION, gets the 2nd match of Raw when I went vs. that british team. WTF? A champion has to face someone legit.

La Resistance gets a lot of heel heat. If they booked Benoit against anyone else it would expose what a lameduck champion he is.

I think Guerrero is a lame duck champion. No Goldberg, no Austin, no Lesnar. This is the point in time where we see how good the creatives at wwe headquarters are.

has anybody read about Austin and Goldberg in a one time PPV show?

It's suppose to happen over in Japan. They might do it under PRIDE.

Austin is also considering working out with New Japan.

He may not be as good on the mic as The Rock, but if you cannot appreciate his outstanding ability to storytell in the ring and actually wrestle soundly (pretty rare today) then you just don't understand the product.

Not really sure what you mean by this. Anyway...let me explain...

So many "fans" of wrestling today are only looking for high spots and comedy promos. There is this other side of the business called wrestling. Wow...what a concept. Wrestlers that can actually wrestle...who would have imagined?

Since today, everybody and their brother operates a wrestling school, most of the ring work is incredibly bad. Matches are much shorter and have WAY too many high spots. Benoit is an exception to this. He wrestles the way that the all time greats did (see Lou Thesz and Brett Hart).

Not many younger fans appreciate decent ring work because they see so little of it.
