Now the WWE is getting good. With Goldberg back and feuding w/ the Rock, now that's a battle to see. I'm confused on why SCSA was fired. Here some news on the Rock:

As of right now, the word is that The Rock will wrestle against Goldberg at Backlash in late April and then take off for Hollywood again. It's rumored that he'll be out of WWE action for six months. When The Rock goes back to Hollywood, he'll start filming a remake of "Walking Tall." The Rock also has the role of legendary Hawaiian ruler, King Kamehameha on his plate. Also, just recently, The Rock has been cast to play Alec Sects in the movie adaptation of the popular video game, Spy Hunter. This movie will be the fourth film Rock will star in for Universal Pictures, (The Mummy Returns, The Scorpion King, and Welcome to the Jungle). Speaking of Welcome to the Jungle, the film is currently in post-production and it is slated to open nationwide on September 28th. In the film, The Rock plays a bounty hunter named Beck who takes on an assignment that lands him deep in the Amazon jungle where he's searching for a supposed escaped convict played by Seann William Scott. Once Beck comes to find out that Scott's character (Travis) isn't really a convict, the two set out on a treasure hunt for a long-lost mine filled with riches. Christopher Walken plays the villian, an evil kingpin by the name of Bloomocks. Rosario Dawson (Men in Black II) co-stars as a pilot and most likely the love interest.

Lastly, while it's been widely rumored for some time now, The Rock is apparently still in negotations to take on the role of Duke Nukem, the character of the popular video game of the same name. The movie is still lingering on in terms of getting a director, producer, other actors, etc. and a production greenlight has yet to be given. The movie has been rumored for around two years now and hardly any steps forward have been taken in getting it developed, so who knows what will happen with this one.

But this is even greater news...MORE PUPPIES!

Since I can't do an Edit to my previous thread, I'll add this in here....but it's a Smackdown Spoiler. So if you want to watch it this Thursday, don't read below....

    - Torrie Wilson's Playboy Coming Out Party. Torrie comes out in a two-piece green outfit. She thanks all the fans and asks them if they'd like to see a special "coming out" - a sneak preview of what's in the pages of Playboy magazine. At this time, Rena "Sable" Mero's music hits and she comes out in a black outfit and takes a mic! Jeez, didn't see that one coming. She announces that she's back in WWE and says things are still the same - all her men are still here to see her and all the women want to be like her. Sable says that she was the first WWE diva to pose in Playboy. But today is Torrie's night and she's happy for her, and maybe Torrie's Playboy will be as successful as hers. Sable says that there are a lot of people who don't feel there is enough room for both her and Torrie but she wants to tell Torrie that she thinks that they will be the best of friends. Sable then leaned over and gives the surprised Torrie a little kiss on the lips.

I used to watch WWF and WCW quite a bit back in the day. Once WCW sold out, I knew it was all over. I'll poke my head in once in a while to see what's going on, but now that Goldberg's back (as well as the gratuitous eye candy), I might watch a little more.

On a related note, my soon to be (tomorrow) three year old son has been more aggressive at his daycare lately. My ex thinks that it's because he's been watching wrestling. She asked if he watches it at my house, and the answer was a resounding NO...I also pointed out that I think he just watches it at her house and her parent's house. She is now fordidding him from watching it at all...Personally, I think he's been more aggressive because he just got bit hard real hard for no apparent reason, and I think now he's being the tough guy so that nobody will do that to him again...

Whoa, Falcon. I think you need to talk to your son about reality and entertainment. It's better to start early and talk to him about it than keep it off until he gets to middle school or something.

Not a problem on this side...My son and I actually rough house quite a bit, but I make it perfectly clear to him that he can only do that with me and maybe Grandpa. On Sunday, we watched 10 minutes of wrestling at my Dad's house, and he readily stated to me that wrestling is make believe. He knows that wrestling is fake...

I really don't mind the fact that she is taking it away from him, but the fact is, he should have never been allowed to get into it in the first place.

I hope they bring Marc Mero too. I am one of the few that probably liked him. I just don't think he was packaged well. The boxing gimmick was stupid. Just have him wrestle as Marc Mero who has some lethal punches. Not that hard WWE.

    yeah that is it.

This bothers me a LOT. If he was watch boxing on The Wide World of Sports and hit a kid, nobody would be blaming the boxing.

Cena with a clean pin over Eddy. Last time that happened the Rock was the guy that did it. Mega push for Cena. They should repackage him though.

Wow. It's amazing what four years can do to someone. Sable looks... different.

Always thought she was taller too...

She looks different but not bad for her age. I even pulled out the back issue she was in. :)

Overall, dunno what the hell they are going to do with the Hogan, will be intersting to see.

Don't get me wrong, I'd still hit it. :D

Yeah, Hogan's continued feud with McMahon is kind of puzzling. Maybe they'll just have an Austin-Hogan roster switch (both being fired this week).

Hope Nash is really coming back Monday.

BTW, which wrestler's heights seem to be stretched (pun intended)? If Hogan is 6'6", Vince has to be 6'4". Jericho is prolly 5'10". Goldberg looks like he is actually an inch shorter than the Rock, so 6'4" to 6'5" is prolly accurate. Stone Cold looks 6'3" if the Rock is 6'5".

Also, I'm betting Diesel is in the limo.

Goldfberg is a lot bulkier than Rock. That's why he looks short. But man, that jackhammer he delivered last Sunday!
