http://www.houstontoyotacenter.com/events.aspx?WhereFlash=Events&eid=10030 Raw in Houston April 5 with Tixs going on sale on March 6th. Thinking bout going, but not sure.
On a completely unrelated note, word is that Steve Austin's role at WrestleMania XX will be as referee for the Lesnar/Goldberg match. Very disappointing. I hope they at least put something together for The Rock.
I remember watching smackdown a few agos when Eddie was attacked backstage, and people thought it was Chavo. I'm thinking it was Angle. I've thought that for a while because I was wondering what Angle would be doing in the chavo/eddie storyline. Angle is the number one contender after beating Cena and Show tonight at No Way Out, and Eddie beat Brock Lesnar so I guess that ass kicking that nobody saw was from Kurt Angle, and it's suppose to build up the match at Wrestlemania. I guess that's how I/the WWE is booking it for Wrestlemania.
Wow. Still don't know the viability of this, but wow. Since they're losing Lesnar and Goldberg after WrestleMania, I bet they're going to put Stone Cold over both of them huge Sunday.
I got my tickets to Raw Saturday. I don't know where I am sitting yet cause my friend bought them for me. He said we are sitting infront of the Titan Tron. Raw is April 5th at the Toyota Center. It is opening day for the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Field. Downtown is going to be crowded.
I am going to Raw also, got mine last Saturday also, got tixs in front of the Titan Tron also. Sec J Row 12 seat 9 & 10 Sec J Row 5 seat 9 Since only my 2 friends and I were going, it was hard to get 3 together, so I am going to sit solo on Row 5. For those intersted, I may have an extra single ticket. The reason was I bought some from the presale last week and checked if i could get better last Saturday, and i did. I sold 2 of them and may sell the third one, but will be sure by this weekend, ill post here if anyone is interested.
Really? I thought it was great for giving the belt to him, just didnt like how he won it (with the help of Goldberg). I was just suprised that he won it before Benoit won it. Its something different to see, u dont have to be tall and huge to be a champion.
Putting the belt on Guerrero was a good idea, just like it might be to put it on Benoit (though, in some ways he's a harder sell). It's about time they changed things up a little. Lesnar leaving would be a huge blow. Rock's return was just as awesome as I expected. Looking forward to WMXX
btw, got an extra SINGLE ticket for Raw Floor E Row 11 Seat 9 Right smack in middle, will sell for $56. Face value is $45 but had to be the $11 service fee/convience fee/BS fee/ etc..... i had to pay by buying through the website. I have the tix in my hand and will meet you to give it to you or will send it to you by snail mail. Email me above or AIM me through my profile.
Make that 2 tickets, my friend backed out so its 2 tixs now, right next to the one above. Actually, my mistake, its seats 11 and 12, same row.
Guerrero's awesome, I've loved him ever since his LWO days in WCW. My fave rassler by far. It's a testament to his talent that WWF never gave him ANYTHING to work with, changing him from face to heel on whims, and he still got over all by himself. Seriously, when the biggest push of your career entails playing Chyna's lover, it's amazing that the fans can get behind you. Chyna was never that over again. Guerrero's going to be a great champ because he can pull off wrestling's lost "art:" telling a story in the ring. The creative ways he cheats in his matches never fail to amaze and amuse me. I just love the guy. Benoit on the other hand... well, I don't think he'll draw as champ if they pull the trigger. I like the guy's ring work, but he's a zero out of the ring and a sub-par brawler, in my opinion, and the champ needs both of those skills. I think Beniot is more useful as the perennial challenger, but to keep him strong, they'll need to put the belt on him for at least a month or two. I don't see him as being a long-term solution, however. I think that spot belongs to Cena when he's ready.
