I think it was animal that had the depression problems. According to reports I heard he told his wife he was not feeling well Saturday and then did not wake up Sunday morning. Symptoms sound like a possible heart problem.
Ah, ok. I was barely following RASSLIN anymore at that point, so you may be right. Usually a description like that seems like a stroke or heart attack.
That was great, that pretty much summed up for me at that time, that Raw taped every other show. What confused me was one time they had Raw one week at the Compaq Center, and showed Raw the following week also in Houston and I KNEW damn well that they didnt come back for the second week. I was dumb at the time and finally figured out. I remind you, this was before the blistering booming rise of the internet
I sort of figured out wrestling before the internet boom about tv tapings and stuff. You can tell what arena they are in, and they were in the arena for consecutive shows. Also when they did the Raw calender to say when the WWF was coming to your town, I noticed they never came on consecutive mondays.
I just got my tickets in the mail. I ordered it off the website. I guess I had no problems with the website, and the mail. Must be a rockets thing. Tickets look pretty neat. It's a silloute picture of the TC from the front of the enterence.
WOW, now thats a shocker! Since school started, havent followed wrestling that much, but damn, thats another life wasted at a young age.

I just got back from Monday Night RAW. It was a pretty good show and I had a good time. Live taping was not all that spectacular with a ton of commercial breaks but for the most part it was enjoyable. They really played up the Stone Cold is gone angle but he was in the building. Not sure what made it on TV becuase the power at my house went out and I didn't get it tivo'd but in the arena there was a great shot of a Jackie Gaida(sp) nipple. The other stand out angel was the Matt Hardy stuff. It was really well presented and swerved the audience big time. The only thing more exciting than some of the in-ring work was the fight that almost broke out betwen the red-necks sitting next to me and a guy that kept smoking in a smoke free building. A few hilarious drunken exchanges took place but no fists flying. Hope smackdown is as good as RAW was. CK
This is going to be my first event at the Toyota Center other than the Open House Test Drive. I am in section 114, Row 4, Seats 8-10. I hope it ends around 9:30 because I am taking my little cousins on a school night. I rather go with my friends but they have to work. That sucks. I am going to leave my house at Five and go Pick them up at 5 20, and arrive at the building say 6:20. I wish Smackdown started at 6:00 instead.
Ours started at 6:45 but because it was live we didn't get out until about 10:30. Heat tapings started at 7:10 and went until 7:45. Smackdown should be a little quicker because you do not hav eto wait for commercial breaks.
It should be done before 10pm. When I went to a Smackdown taping back in April 2002, it ended well before 10pm. There isnt any commercial breaks but there are breaks in between matches, just not as long as Live events. I wanted to go pretty bad, but even at $15 tixs, thats a stretch for me at the moment. Oh well, wait till the next television event comes.
Oh yea wanted to post this last week but was too lazy to find this thread, but at the Suns game last Friday, during the half time entertainment, they had the Gorilla mascot of the Suns come out to do dunks and what not. There was a table out around midcourt where he threw up signs that said "Suns Rule", "Yall going to lost" and "Rockets Suck!". Afterwards, he pulled out the silly string and started spraying the people in the front row and towards the end, he sprayed Big Show. He got up hyping that he was in Houston, blah blah, what not, then said that someone is going to take care of him and introduced Clutch as "THEEEEE CLLLUUTTCHHHH". Pretty funny. He comes out on a motorcycle ala Undertaker's entrance and pulls off his costume and is decked out in wrestling gear. He started to give him elbow drops and what not, then got Big Show to throw through the table. When the teams came out for shoot around, Cat and Cato went up to him to shake his hand since he was sitting on the same side as the Rockets were shooting at. Pretty cool to see, but was weird cause I hear that Undertaker was at the Rockets/Mavs game the night before but Undertaker is the Houstonian.
Good show last night, I thought. Not too bad of a turnout, too, given how small WWE crowds have been lately. The upper deck was closed, but the bottom bowl was pretty full. With the Vince and Kane promos on Undertaker being buried alive, its obvious he's going to be coming back as the Deadman (raised from the bowels of hell!).
