Well, Dish Network didn't broadcast the Rockets game tonight. It was on cable. It was on DirecTV. Apparently, FSN somehow screwed up and sent feeds for Dallas v San Antonio, Minnesota v Portland, Utah v Sacramento and the Dallas Stars to the Houston area instead of the Rockets. Very very nice!!! ------------------ Me fail English? That's unpossible.
That's horrible. One time to feel good about cable. ------------------ Sometimes you gotta do the next best thing!
That is pathetic. How are you going to screw up and send the feed of practically every game but the Houston game to the freaking area? Stupid. ------------------ Dream a deadly Dream. . .
Awwww...poor Jeff! What was the title of that Bruce Springsteen song a few years ago?? "357 Channels and Nothing's On" By the way, Jeff, it was a GREAT game! ------------------ If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding!! Don't tell me they are some how linked with Time Warner???? I have to say that after half a season with only 4 of the 11 stations working (credited for half season), it's been nice catching the Rockets now that they fixed League Pass. I'm just sorry you have to live my nightmare. ------------------ In the end there will be no judges...only witnesses to my greatness.
Is that what happened? I get Dish Network also. i count on FSSN for 50% of the games. I skip class tonight, kick off my shoes, butter my popcorn(what?), and ......... nothing. And what do I miss? 20 Boards! And, if the box score was correct, 34 minutes. Tonight sucked. ------------------ Kenny Thomas had a foul called on him in the Western Conference Finals.
all i gotta say is shut up..... i'm stuck in the middle of no where with no coverage EVER of the rockets game ------------------ "Wahooo"-homer I'm not only a fan but I'm also the bartender at clutchcity chat For the last time I'm not Tybrave!!!!! I would have hung myself long ago. Do you listen to games over the web? ------------------ Kenny Thomas had a foul called on him in the Western Conference Finals.

Same here. It would seem we are a rather large brotherhood of Rocket coverage-impaired fans. so drop it Jeff! I only watched ONE game in the entire season! ------------------ President of the Official Welcoming Committee for Shareef Abdur-Rahim!
True Thanos, but you don't have to wake up at 5:00am to watch Mika spank Michael when the season starts. I believe we are just a couple of weeks a way. ------------------ "Stranger things have happened, but none stranger than this" - Commentator after a parachutist landed in the ring of a Holyfield fight
DirecTV rules!! For all of you that are Rocket-less, come and join us in chat on game nights. We got moderators, stats and usually a couple of folks doing play by play. ESPN game cast is really good on game nights, usually only 30 seconds to a minute off of real time. Join us, next game. rH ------------------ The Psychedelic Groove House of Rockets Basketball Love!
Let me tell you how great DirectTV is. I got all of the equipment for $50 bucks. (March Madness special). I hooked the satellite up to one tv only. I only pay for basic programming (a couple of shopping channels and the ability to get pay per view), which only costs me $5 / month, and then I get the sports packages. So basically, I spend about $300 a year to watch most of the Astros games and almost all of the Rockets games. For people who live outside of Houston, there is no other option!!! You can't be a fan if you can't watch the games. Simple as that.
Hmmm... let's see... besides holidays, I only get to see the Rockets twice per year when they play the Celtics... do you know how PAINFUL that is ;P? ------------------ Shandon Anderson rocks. The lottery sucks. Playoffs 2001.
I'm pretty sure that there were still tickets available at the box office last night. ------------------
I don't live in H-town anymore but get down there for at least a couple of games a year. Ever since Shepherd plaza went dead and downtown boomed, it seems like it's not as much fun to go to the games. I used to go to VAPOR ROOM, 2826, Stric9, and all the other decent bars and see lots of Rockets fans. Now, you just have the West U bars and a couple of stragglers around Kirby. Maybe I'm way off, but I have a feeling that when the Rocks' move downtown, all of us true fans will be stuck paying top dollars with the scalpers. point of the story....Enjoy it while you can. ------------------ "Stranger things have happened, but none stranger than this" - Commentator after a parachutist landed in the ring of a Holyfield fight
Jeff, Call them up and tell them you want a credit for each night the game is supposed to be on and it wasn't. Worked at Time Warner. ------------------ In the end there will be no judges...only witnesses to my greatness.
Does anyone know if this has been corrected or not? I'd hate to miss another game because of this. ------------------ "Relax... kids swallow quarters all the time. If she craps out two dimes and a nickel then start worrying!" -Grumpier Old Men
