Wow what is with all the negativity and anger, why don't we all smoke a J and plant a tree, and then go make silly hippie paintings of tye dye skies and gumdrop bumblebees?
Oh yeah gee, no one seems to have noticed that. If I had not been sitting in front of the TV last night, if I had simply looked at this PDF document and set my VCR accordingly, I would have taped some High School Football stuff, and who knows what else, because the game was NOT on the regular 643 channel, it was on the RSNA 'Alternate' channel. I don't know if this is strictly local to Houston, or what.. but it is really really annoying that they can't seem to get accurate information out there.. I realize that they only very recently signed their TV deal, and ok fine. But they have to get accurate info available asap. The PDF schedule does not mention an alternate channel even once. is there somewhere else that info is available? Even the Houston Chronicle does not have the info - heck, the Chron did not have the Rockets listed as a sporting event on TV yesterday at ALL. Maybe we need to call Miss Cleo...
Hey RocketScientist. If you visit this board as frequently as you suggest you do, you would have seen the link shawn posted about a half dozen times (at LEAST). So pipe down, Francis. In the meantime, here's some cheese to go with your whine.
geeez.....the downloadable pdf document withthe TV channels listed has been available for a week or better I posted the link to the damn thing at least three times in the last two days... check the first page of the Nets Game thread.. Tim (or whoever monitors this site) cant be held responsible for your stupidity or laziness.
that is FSN's(or NBALP) call...it has ZERO to do with the Rockets organization. If they have something else on their schedule..or for whatever rreason...they switch it to a alternate channel. Go b**** at FSN\Direct\Dish\NBALP about that...
Yeah dick move, meaning you gotta be a dick to make that kind of a move. Before you edited your post, your tone came across like you were attacking the mods here, in addition to Tim. Is it also the Rockets organization's job to do a simple search that you're too lazy or stupid to do? As it was already pointed out, the schedule for the season is on the main page. If you though just a few seconds longer, maybe you would have looked at the main NBA schedule: http://www.nba.com/schedules/index.html ...or the Houston Chronicle: http://www.chron.com/content/chronicle/sports/basketball/index.html Imagine if you spent the time looking just a little longer rather than b****ing here, you would have saved us all from having to read your lame post.
please tell me you are being sarcastic...my meter is broke so I cant tell. in case you arent....that is a Stripes reference.
yesterday the game came on ALT1 on Dish Network, I was confused because FSSW had something else on. I also thought the game started at 7:30
Well, RocketsPimp, checked the chronicle. Said the game would be on ch. 51 KNWS. Meanwhile, Nba.com's schedule, says it'll be on FSO, whatever channel that may be. Currently, Martin is on 51. And I too have seen the pdf schedule link posted up on numerous occassions. Unfortunately, my comp and adobe reader can't read it properly.
Great, so blame the Chronicle for printing wrong information. You know Yahoo has an option to view TV listings. It seems they have it on the right channel. Maybe ya'll should give it a try. Call me crazy since I haven't lived in Houston for almost 4 years, but aren't home games usually on 51 and road games usually on Fox Sports?
This TV schedule is so messed up that even my TIVO could not find the game. I checked rockets.com,h-chronicle, and Yahoo TV. Finally I went to Directv.com and found it on 648. This game of cat and mouse is getting old. ATTENTION ROCKETS PICK A STATION AND STICK WITH IT!!!!!
Hey I'm not looking to get b*tched at but, I live in Huntsville and the game isn't on FSN or KNWS on my cable. I caught the previous games on FSN, so I figure there are no territorial restrictions. Anyone know whats up?
not this year... there are only 9 games left on 51 from this point on. everything else is either FSNSW,TNT,ABC. the Rockets have picked a station....FSN-SW...what channel that ends up being on your directv system is up to either Direct or FSN. complain to them...
