    Here's something I've wondered and this seems like the best place to ask, is a burrito a little donkey?

    YES. Most "-ito" words are the diminutive version... except for maybe "Quito" and "bonito" and some more I can't think of now.

    "El Burrito" Ortega (forward for Argentina National soccer team) was as fast as a little donkey.

    If you cross a burro with a caballo, you get a mula (yes,pronounced moolah).
