You guys that are ok with how he is acting are settlers, you are fine winning 50 games in the regular season and flaming out in the playoffs.

Those of us who want MORE, know that it takes discipline to win that chip, and unless Harden gets it, every season we waste on him is a waste of time.

Either he learns the discipline necessary for champions or he is just a better JR Rider.

Individual honors are a waste of time, this is like winning in ice skating where it is judged by those not playing......all that matters is that ring....NOTHING else.

This is something that needs to happen.

    Players need to be accountable.

Silas is going to instill this culture.

Stone has a silent way of moving compared to Daryl. This is a big difference too.
Business/basketball are going to be conducted in a certain manner.

An organic change was definitely needed.

Contrary to what some might think, I believe the Rockets will get their ducks in a row .....

With the organization creating a winning culture from the ground up....

An ingrained and professional one that his known throughout the league.

lol u wanting more is basically u yearning for Rocket teams before harden where we played hard.

Remind me, after the two championship, did we win with the culture u yearn for?

Culture talk is just bs. Discipline doesn't correlated to rings, u using it to fault harden is just wrong ,but to each ones own.

LOL! Keep Dreaming. This city hasn't won a damn thing in 25 years.
Winning in the NBA takes stars and NBA stars will be pampered. It's not new and won't change with the league and shoe companies paying these guys hundreds of millions of dollars. And to compound things, to win a title you need more than one. It's the cost of doing business.

How can you create a winning culture if winning isn’t the priority of ownership? It can’t happen.

Kwahi won chips while sitting out half a season
So If Harden sat out half a season you would be good with that

What makes some guys think that this owner and management team know anything about culture anyway? The team will be run according to the owners "tried and true" methods in hospitality I would assume since now the Morey Method is under the microscope. Will it be successful? I have my doubts especially since it also appeared that Fertitta stretched himself thin just buying the team. Almost like there should be some requirements for ownership regarding the net worth of a buyer in respect to the purchase price so that it doesnt turn into the NBA version of a Dollar General store.

There are only so many guys throughout the league that can talk about culture and be taken seriously by the veteran greats currently playing - you saw it on display when Harden was cuddling up to Pop the other night. When relative nobodies try to do it; it just comes across as contrived, they cant seem to connect with the best player this team has had in nearly 30 years so it must be because the guy is such a cancer and cant follow the new rules. The guy who's being blamed entirely for the failures of the team and is now treated as a liability after getting this team closer than anyone else not named Olajuwon to a ring. Crazy how fickle fans can be.

I've come to terms that he's more than likely gone, and I just hope that all parties can remain professional and try to reach a symbiotic closure to this thing.

We've had a different set of circumstances where we weren't allowed any type of rebuild. Daryl was charged with finding a way to reload on the run and get there. There were decisions made during this time that didn't sit well, but many factors played into this.He did a helluva job. Our reset is upon us though..and the right people are in place.

    We'll get there...and it will be sustainable..ie..organic..

The dawn of a new age of Rockets hoops is upon us, and contrary to what you might think at the moment, this is a good thing.

There is not much culture difference working a govt entity and at the lids corp office, There are shitty govt offices and great run corporate offices.

Just look at the white house these last 4 years even if you like Trump you have to admit it has been dysfunctional, I have worked in gov and it depends on leadership and if protocols are followed and that does not happen every time.

Yes I get it and I still have no clue why you think a govt office is better than any other office.

    Take that for rebuttal.

    That's your definition of structure.

That kind of scheduling altercation goes on all the time with every team that has a superstar player, Riley did it with Shaq in Miami.

    YOU A BASKETBALL PLAYER?

That shows your mindset and its says a lot about you as a person.

So what a basketball player can't be as smart as an agent or GM?

Three things in life I’ve been programmed to do from early age Things have to run like clock work for me, not being tardy or late and lazy/attention to details. That is always going hold people or a organisation in good stead

So if you do not have talent what does a winning culture look like?

Is San Antonio since Leonard left?

Is it the Lakers before the got Lebron?

Is it Miami before and after the got Lebron or Jimmy?

Is A winning culture not letting your star players have any input into schedules and personnel?

That must be some shitty culture in Utah and Milwaukee since they can't get out of the 1st round right?

 Come on DD, "flaming out in the playoffs," i.e. advancing to the second round or conference finals most years?

And saying Harden is a better JR Rider is like saying Dream is a better Keon Clark. Come on, man.

I agree 90 percent of this report was exaggerated or some of it just downright false, but being late for training or being out of shape is no excuse.Overall this report was a clear hatchet job, but being tardy is no excuse.

Most wins of any team in the last 8 years, being in the playoffs every year, 2 conference finals, only two first round exits in the era of a peak Spurs, Lebron Cavs/Lakers and Warriors super teams is bad i guess
