So it isnt a culture change you are advocating but a Harden change.

Either you have preferential treatment or you dont.

Itsnlike being pregnant, you cant go half way.

Not sure what the link here is? I don't think the two are related. I think goal is to get Harden to buy into the new culture, which I don't think is outside the realm of possibilities. It does seem like Stone/Silas are bringing big changes to how things operate - just gotta hope Harden gives it a fair chance. We need to get a Ted Lasso type to get him on board!

There is one MAJOR flaw in your assessment, You don't offer the culprit of your "Toxic Culture" 2-years $103 million TO STAY. Money just confirms bad behavior, it doesn't discourage it. Harden had to ask for a trade! Hell if they would've been actively looking for a trade before he asked for one, it would've been off everyone's radar and they wouldn't be getting crappy offers. But since he publicly asked for a trade & the dirty laundry is being aired his value is taking a hit.

How is holding everyone equally accountable the same as not wanting Harden?

This is a star driven league.

There is no star on this team other than Harden.

And having Boogie as the face of a culture change is comical considering his past antics and entitlement in previous stops.

There is no real culture change, this is a farce.

If Harden had accepted Rockets extension, there would be nothing about changing culture.

Ok and there are places/teams that have won a ton with stars and accountability.
    Spurs/Warriors/Miami
Stars will get treatment but there’s levels to it.

This kind of feels like you want the Rockets to suck so you can gloat about it though...

kind of like the folks that can't wait for harden to be gone, not knowing the grass isn't going to be greener. But they still don't care or haven't let that sink in.

I know what to expect when Harden is gone. Pretty sure you do too. This culture change talk is nonsense. Lets see how long til the rockets get someone like harden to even be able to establish a relevant culture. Oh and if this culture is apparently so toxic, why offer a $100million dollar extension to the guy that's supposedly the root problem. What a complete gimmick

Again to my point, I damn sure will be asking how this culture is going when the rockets are no longer relevant for years to come since it's such a key talking point

So what is the level of preferential treatment you'd be willing to accept vs. accountability?

Would you accept Harden tanking the entire season after fully healed from an injury because team/player did not think remaining season was salvageable?

Steph has done this couple of times now.

What about if Harden tweets a pic of his junk to the public?

Or beats up a student at his old university hangout?

Or calls his teammates names in the media to force himself to another team?

What if a player impregnates a woman not his fiance and it becomes a media storm?

What about a player who does attend practice or when he does only gives 50%? Practice? You talking about practice?

Or what about a superstar who openly feuds and divides team vs. the other superstar on the team while the team was actively winning championships?

Or what about if Harden was accused of gang raping a woman?

And you don't think Dame has the same culture?

Its funny how he never had an issue with the culture when he was signed twice.

Does it matter if I am older than you or not young since that what you claimed I must be.

None of that is as bad as Harden gifting a friend some monies in da club on his birthday. That’s the real outrageous story. The other stuff is child’s play.

The culture change being discussed regarding the Rockets is the major shift by team leadership to begin following the teachings of Jesus and the bible along with weekly prayer groups at the summit led by Joel Osteen.

You can have every what if in the world, each one is by itself in whether it should be overlooked or not.
Bottom line is this starts with management and the best player to set a standard of success and work ethic. Not just during games but during practice, meetings, travel and anything in between.
Maybe Harden has been doing that, I always thought he was a hard worker. But if any of the report is true-and smoke from former players-and how he’s behaved this off-season, there’s room for doubt. And if so, every person above Harden and himself are complicit in the negativity.
If you don’t think that then there is no further discussion about it needed.

Why do you believe that article.

Timmy has been here the last 3 years and not a peep.

Harden has never been accused of always showing up late until this week, why is that?
