You are starting to sound even more delusional with an increasing persecution complex. As I obliquely alluded to in my post, I would surmise that at age 50, I am probably twice your age, giving me just a few extra years of "research" time. Let's review: What makes you think I haven't pursued and studied your line of "research" and then, based upon a thorough grounding in reality, rejected it for the preposterous nonsense it is?
Years mean little, it's what you've researched and witnessed with your own eyes and interpreted with your mind. Again, note the overwhelming character attacks, very little about the content of my posts. For example, I might believe you are delusional because you've been living in a bubble of propaganda for 50 years, but I'd prefer to listen to your arguments based on your research. If we keep attacking each other's character or mental soundness, we get nowhere. I'd imagine you haven't spent thousands of hours researching feudalism, scientific indoctrination, propaganda, mind control, the history of money, pyschological warfare, NGOs and their influence on government, etc. I could be wrong, but if you had you probably wouldn't be calling me delusional.
Media has programmed the masses to believe 'truthers' and 'conspiracy theorists' are wackos, therefore any opinion they have is automatically a thought crime. Read '1984' by Orwell, they use(d) the same techniques as what you see today. Or simply learn the story of the Emperor's New Clothes, it was always the young who spoke out against obvious lies and illusions.
case in point, a freakin' mouse at the whitehouse recently got press coverage. peeps need to put their tin foil hats in the trash
The media tells you stupid things because they think you are stupid. That's why celebrities are part of your news, it's intended for idiots and the brainwashed masses. It is not their job to tell you the truth, only to keep you docile and distracted.
I know this thread is 11 pages long, and if this has mentioned earlier please accept my apologies, but has anyone considered that what caused the explosions was THE FREAKING PLANE SLAMMING INTO THE BUILDING? Just asking.
The notion that minority opinions tend to be marginalized in the media is nothing new. But it doesn't follow that whatever half-baked theory someone may have swimming in their brain should be considered credible. Present the evidence to back up your claims, and let that stand the test of scrutiny. And since you want people to think in a scientific way, keep in mind the words of the late Carl Sagan: "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."
No use really thinking about it, you have to understand the higher agenda. Just look at the draconian laws and wars that occurred directly after 9/11 leading up to the present.
I don't even think scientifically, it will just send your mind into oblivion. #1 is understanding why this system I was born into is in place, and figuring out why it is here, and then learning the examples throughout history to determine why this is happening. People love to argue 9/11, vaccines, etc. I'll ask people why male sperm count is down 75% since 1950, and they shrug. Why are more and more children becoming autistic? Shrug. I don't need to know the science behind it, just the fact that it is not a crisis that children are mutating and males are becoming sterile is very telling about the agenda of who is controlling the media and government. But terrorism is a HUGE crisis, yet poses a far less threat to us than the slow systematic death of humanity which is flying under the radar. The first step is simply admitting that something is wrong.
I'm not going to admit something is wrong just because an anonymous person mentions an unverified statistic. Point out the study that shows this to be the case. Then I'll look it over, seek out the various theories that are out there to explain it, and if one stands out that makes much more sense than the rest then that's the one I'll tend to believe. If no theory stands out, then I'll suspend judgment. But I'm not going to fly into a panic about a conspiracy to control our sperm count unless there is a strong amount of evidence to lead me to that conclusion. Edit: Here's what I found on a quick search: http://www.encognitive.com/node/1558 [rquoter]But after careful analysis, she changed her mind. What is the cause? "Once we rule out differences such as smoking, temperature, age and ethnicity, what we will have left are environmental factors," Swan said. She, and many other experts, blame persistent organic pollutants (POPs), which range from pesticides such as DDT to industrial chemicals like PCBs. All have been shown to act like hormones such as estrogens, which can either bring out feminine characteristics or work to counteract male hormones. Even if there is a 10% chance (much greater chance imo) that male fertility is plummeting, why is there no crisis and pandemonium?
Pandemonium over what, exactly? To what extent has the reduced sperm count increased the threat of whole populations dying off? Not even close. And is it even clear that it is a significant contributor to the negative population growth rate in industrialized countries compared to changes in lifestyle (marrying later or not at all, having less children)? This seems to me to be an extremely, extremely, extremely minor issue compared to the potential for environmental catastrophe, the threat of nuclear war, or the possibilities of a global economic collapse. Convince me otherwise.
If fertility keeps dropping, maybe not in this generation, or the next, but eventually we will be unable to reproduce. Watch the movie 'Children of Men', it's an example of what the future holds for us if we don't pay attention. Things like nuclear war, environmental catastrophes, and economic collapses are out of your hands, you just have to prepare for them and can't worry about it too much. You can however, change your own living environment to preserve your body and humanity. it's also clear that there is a major depopulation agenda going on, therefore it is not a crisis because certain people want the masses lowered in number. In a system where the few control the many, overpopulation is the number one threat to the regime. Kissinger said it himself.
Chidren of Men is a nice movie, but it is science fiction. It puts forward a scenario in which the entire human population becomes infertile all at once. There's no reason to think that's where we are heading. There are many socio-economic factors that go into a reduction in fertility rates (which is not at all a bad thing, btw, considering the tremendous ecological footprint of our species), and its not so clear to me that the drop in sperm count plays a significant role. So you want people to be in pandemonium over reduction in sperm count, but accept that things like nuclear war, the environment, and the global economy is "out of our hands"? Some countries have a major depopulation agenda, and for good reasons. I don't think the US is among them but, again, since it is all so clear to you present the evidence. That's how this is supposed to work, right?
7. change the subject. start talking about sperm count, Big Pharma, and vaccinations in a 9/11 thread. just confuse the **** out of anyone who might lend their ears as an audience. 8. make up arbitrary percentages about the world around you and start throwing them around like some mathematician. Just say that everything in the world is split by a 95-5 percentage. or 90-10. 80-20 would also work. it's science people, and it's how the world works. 95% of the posters here agree with me. 9. Start throwing around BOOK TITLES, AUTHORS, PHILOSOPHERS, and HISTORIANS, to make yourself appear so well read that your feeble audience of listeners cannot even grasp what it is you are saying. Check out Rousseau's "Theory of Natural Man" for more details.
Why "Children of Men?" Why didn't you just reference "The Andromeda Strain" or "1984" or "The Handmaid's Tale?" There a a myriad of realistic reasons for the drop in fertility that have nothing to do with a vast government conspiracy. Pollution, stress levels, and the shallowing of the gene pool to name a few.
