It's never the stated goals of the fringe left that are bad, though some are pretty stupid, it's the foolish ways they attempt to accomplish those goals that are often pretty terrible.

For example "Immigration justice/abolish ICE" really means "open borders" which would be a disaster.

Goals that are just plain stupid or infeasible are things like "Housing as a human right" or "Federal jobs guarantee". Those things, while maybe they'd be nice are essentially like a child running for class president on a "No more tests or homework" platform. It'll make stupid people cheer, but it's not something that can actually happen.

Yeah, the Democrats should have more reasonable policy objectives like "We're going to build a wall and MEXICO is going to pay for it!" Good god how are some of you this stupid?

Did we have open borders before 2003? Yet another triumph of dogma over facts on the ground. But you be you.

Slightly different take ... Republicans are for nothing but against everything that Democrats are for.

Being the opposition party kinda only works when you are the party out of power.

When you are the party that is for nothing, there should be no surprise that they get nothing done legislatively.
