And that's exactly what Trump did in the primary and as soon as each Republican followed him into the gutter, it spelled their doom. The final 2 Republicans left running against him were the 2 Republicans that best stayed out of the gutter while guys like Rubio and Bush crashed and burned by trying to beat Trump at his game.

This strategy works for Trump, so you may be onto something.

It's this notion that "Trump baited" that is ridiculous. His demeanor is his core essence since he was an adult.

I honestly don't even know what you mean by "their own brand of vinegar"?

Hillary was a lame centrist who's most outrageous statement was '35% of Trump supporters are deplorable' which a vast majority of moderates who require motivation to vote probably agree with in the first place.

The left has been quite civil relatively unless you believe those large organized protests like the "Women's March" is what you are reffering to as vinager?

What do you explicitly mean by vinager in 2016 from the Democrats?

About a 100000 people will determine the outcome of this election. That is .08% of the population.

Yes it DEFINITELY does. They won the voter turnout wars in 2016 because many felt compelled that someone was "finally telling it like it is".

You've not lived in a massive right wing bubble for an extended period of time like I have(Marine Infantry barracks) have you?

They love this ****. They love when their candidate hurls 4th grade level insults. They love when they insult celebrities. They love violence against protestors. Stop being naive.

You are not part of the “swing vote” and neither is the poster that “liked” your post. You both are entrenched conservatives and there is obviously nothing wrong with that. However this idea that you represent swing votes is ridiculous.

    No. They did not.

    R turnout remained steady.

    D and moderate turnout dipped.

    Especially in swing states.

I highly encourage to keep doing exactly what you are doing through November 2018 and on into 2020.

Why do place higher standards for individual citizens over the "leader of the free world"?

    Can you answer this question?

You are correct that I am not part of the swing vote. I liked his post based on the comment about the moral high ground and entrenching the Republican base.

o_O I am on your side in this matter. I am encouraging you to keep it up. Acting like Trump is a great strategy for the left.

I'm genuinely curious. No cute answers please. I'm genuinely asking you a question.

I agree that your motivation to show up at the polls will be your grievance & hypocrisy where you cannot handle being called out on it, and instead just build up more grievance towards "Libtards" like myself. The motivation on the right is about your hate for "the other"...not policy. That's why the GOP is running in 18 on culture wars instead of the Tax cut which is the only major policy achievement you guys got under Trump.

The more people like me call it out, the angrier you'll become and more likely you are to show up. That's why right wing propaganda works to get you worked up against people like me.

Doesn't mean your hypocrisy shouldn't be called out. You aren't changing. That's a fact. Right wing propaganda will work on people like you 100% of the time. I can't do anything to change that, and me treating you like a child who can't handle the truth of your own hypocritical nature isn't helping anyone's cause but yours and Trumps.

Turnout on the other side is what matters, and how that happens is messaging that actually gets heard.

I am not placing higher standards on you or anyone. You are free to do and say whatever you want. Again, I encourage you to act as you see fit.

This recent blitz reminds me alot of the campaign the Right wing media put out months ago to try and tie all Democrats to Antifa which they painted as some sort of well funded, secret society terrorist organization.

This propaganda campaign seems to resurface anytime they feel threatened politically when there is something so unpopular going on the only thing they can do is propagate whataboutism, and pump up the other side as the most extreme version of themselves they can paint.

No surprise this push came a week after separating children from their parents. Something they cannot defend so they just regurgitate whataboutism.

Problem is... it worked. The media spent all day yesterday telling the world how Democrats are meany pants, and told people like CML7 that he should be outraged by people like me because how dare I not act like paid shrink whose only job is to listen to your grievances & nod my head in agreement instead of calling a spade a spade.

You can't blame that on the right, no one forced Democrats to come out in defense of Antifa. That's an unforced error.

This post is comical. You can't see the forest because all of the trees in your way. It is comical you talk about propaganda and being hypocritical even though you do not recognize it while you are bombarded with it 24/7 in the echo chamber you live in. Please keep believing just as you do and again I highly encourage you to double down on this temper tantrum approach.
