Totally agree that TNA >>> WWE.

Mostly because WWE doesn't know what to do with their wrestlers that aren't in the hunt for the title. Intercontinental belt? Worthless. Tag team belts? Worthless. Stables? Non-existant. So if you aren't in the hunt for the real belt you are usually stuck in a lame feud which will be forgotten after the next ppv. Add to that the fact that the belt doesn't change hands very often, and you have a very stale show imo.

Im extremely happy someone started this thread. Last time I mentioned this, I kind of got flamed by some WWE fanboys. Yes, in the late 90's and early 2000's WWE was insanely good. But after Vince bought out his competition, they really stopped trying. For real, the midget being Vince's b*stard kid? Give me a break...and could the legacy of DX be tainted any more?

TNA does some stuff that is cheeseball sometimes (Shark boy going Steve Austin, but I actually find it really funny), but their overall pacing, fueds, and storylines are all better than anything WWE has done in about 7 or 8 years.

I have really hated WWE since they brought back the nWo just to have Steve Austin pretty much take it down in about 2 weeks. That could have been done so well, but it was garbage.

    OK, Im done.

TNA could really make their product on TV better by getting rid of Mike Tenay and (especially) Don West.

DW is probably the worst wrestling announcer ever. He is even worse than Mark Madden from the old WCW days. I never thought anybody would make me long for the days of Tony Schiavonne, but even he was loads better than DW.

    Gordon Solie he isn't.

TNA needs to stop trying to live off the WWE name and get rid of that ridiculous 6-sided ring. They may sometimes put on better wrestling matches, but everything else they do is pretty corny. Combine that with the fact that they need to make their own stars and stop pushing Vince's stars.

There's just no reason for me to watch TNA. If I wanted to see good wrestling matches, I'll watch Ring of Honor or Japanese wrestling. I think TNA has a long way to go before they can even compete with WWE. They can barley beat out ECW, WWEs 3rd rate show, in the ratings.

As bad as Tony Schiavonne was at times, he was actually pretty decent in late 80s til about the mid 90s.

Listen some of that matches he did in WWF and some of the big events WCW....he did a good bit of pretty well (esp. some of the Sting v. Vader match, I think it was the Great American Bash).

Tenay was starting to be integral to certain storylines earlier. One episode, he was giving Cornette the business. Annoying.

TNA is ok, definitely better wrestling, imo.

I can remember Tony Schiavonne and Bob Caudle doing the announcing for NWA in the mid 1980s. Bob Caudle was actually pretty good. Must be all that time he spent working with Gordon Solie.
