Staged or not...this was cool... Yeah I know it has nothing to do with Bret Hart, but like the current WWE...I really don't care. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-K30gm2OFhY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-K30gm2OFhY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Hitman certainly looks like the stroke really took its toll, still very cool to see him back in the game for at least a few months.
sadly pretty uneventful i switched over to tna and was more entertained by that i guess you guys can let me know if bret actually tries to wrestle again
saw the clips on WWE's website, I thought I would never see the day of Shawn Michaels/Bret Hart making up, that in itself was epic btw, if you haven't watched "Wrestling in the Shadows" Bret Hart Biopic, do yourself a favor and click the link below http://www.nfb.ca/film/hitman_hart_wrestling_with_shadows/ or....... watch it here <embed src="http://media1.nfb.ca/medias/flash/ONFflvplayer-gama.swf" width="516" height="337" width="518" height="325" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" autostart="false" flashvars="mID=IDOBJ4591&image=http://media1.nfb.ca/medias/nfb_tube/thumbs_large/2009/HitmanHart_Big.jpg&width=516&height=337&autostart=false&showWarningMessages=false&streamNotFoundDelay=15&lang=en&getPlaylistOnEnd=true&embeddedMode=true"></embed>
Him and that stupid midget.... plus the now pathetic DX(way to wreck something that was pretty cool in its day) is why you can bet TNA will start to kick their ass. I bet a ton of people tuned over to TNA.
TNA had the way better show last night. The Kurt Angle & AJ Styles match was probably one of the best matches Ive ever seen. Plus, no matter how old they get, whenever the nWo guys all get together I just love it. I kept flipping to WWE during commercials and it just doesn't have it anymore. Perhaps TNA doing better will make Vince step his game up like he did back in the WWF vs WCW days.
I thought RAW was done really well. TNA did ok too but I wouldn't say it was the way better show. I've seen Hogan and his old friends plenty of times. I was more interested to see how all this Bret Hart stuff played out. Nice ending, good ol' Vinnie Mac is back.
The first hour of TNA was embarrassingly bad. Like, train wreck bad. I don't know what the hell they were thinking with that Asylum match in the cage. You couldn't even see half the match with those thick red bars, one section of the cage was so loose it looked like it was gonna pop off and fall to the ground at any moment (yeah, they're REALLY trapped inside a cage, eh?), and then the ending. A no contest... on a CAGE match??? Really? And not only that, but pretending like you have to escape through the top of the cage, then Jeff Hardy shows up and Homicide magically appears outside the cage?? Okay. The only thing that made that show interesting at ALL was the Styles/Angle match, but even that was a little absurd at the end. They were trying WAY to hard to make that seem like the OMG BEST MATCH EVER!! Styles and Angle hit their finishers like six times each, which is just plain stupid and completely makes their "finishers" pointless. It's overbooking in the extreme. I did like Hogan's bit with the NWO guys the first time out when he insisted they'd have to earn their spot - but I don't ever wanna see Scott Hall on my television again. He looked like he was borderline incontinent out there. Dude is DONE. Same with the Nasty Boys. No one gives a rat's ass about the Nasty Boys. Pope was awesome on the mic and the Knockouts were really good. Problem with TNA is the whole thing looks so "small". The production values are super crappy compared to the WWE. It's not even close. This could change, but it appears really second rate no matter who's on the screen. The opening video package for Bret Hart on Raw was better than any package TNA's ever done. As for Raw - most of the show was pretty blah - but the opening Bret Hart segment was the best thing about either show last night. The face to face with Shawn was absolutely surreal for a wrestling fan. The wrestling on the show was average at best, and I really really don't need Hornswoggle doing anything but acting as comedy for the kiddies. He shouldn't be anywhere near DX, but Shawn could be getting out of that angle soon. He's been asking for fan's opinions about a heel turn on facebook, and they played up some tension last night. Kofi vs. Orton was flat, and anyone who didn't think Vince was gonna swerve Bret at the end is nuts. That was way, way too obvious. So obvious that it doesn't make sense even in character that it would surprise Bret there. Seemed like a really naive moment for the character. Hell, earlier in the night I wasn't so sure Shawn wasn't gonna turn and superkick Bret in the jaw. They teased that a hell of a lot better and more believably. The "hug" wasn't the most warm hug I've ever seen and it left the door open for an ambiguous relationship down the line.
Yeah, I figured that wouldn't be a pretty popular statement. WWE is still the "household name" and that is always going to get more attention. I'm not saying TNA is incredible or anything. I am just saying that I felt like the only reason I was watching WWE anymore was because I had to. Because of what it used to be. And I was always a much bigger fan of Hogan over Hart. In fact, I was probably one of the only ones who never really gave a crap about Bret Hart. Look, I hope they both end up good. Because back in the late 90's, it was great having TWO wrestling programs that were good and challenged each other. Would be cool to have that back.
TNA didn't need 3 hours. Would have been much better with 2. With 3 hours, they seemed to have lots of filler and dragged everything out a bit. And I agree with the guy that said everything for them seemed so "small". I feel they're going to need to go out of the Impact Zone if they truly want to compete with WWE.
Absolutely agree. On both counts. The one thing I have always hated about TNA is that the crowd is like a high school pep rally size. And I know that is because they probably couldn't fill a major arena. But it still makes it feel weaker sometimes. And the 3 hour thing was ridiculous. There were so many damn commercials it killed any pacing it had.
Agree with this. While TNA basically ran a paint-by-numbers Nitro from 1998, it was, ironically fresh compared to the Raw that has basically been a constant rehash of itself since 2003. WWE has gone stagnant since they started heavily scripting their promos and ditched gimmicks for the three or four archetypes that most everyone falls under. I did like the Jeri-Show/D-X match, and the little mark in the back of my head was buying the worked shoot with Vince at the end. They still do stuff like that very well.
