Jeffrey not running scares me. Sure, it's great his weight is down but him not running, especially after all the doubt about his speed, shows me that he's not confident in his ability to put up a good time in a neutral environment

This is the guy I've wanted all along too. Beyond Blackmon , he is the most NFL ready player at WR and will be an impact player from day one. The Texans window is NOW and we need to move up and get him ...I'm thinking he goes in the 9 - 13 range?
Yeah, he's quite a specimen, at 6-3 230 with mad hops, a sub 4.5, and great hands. But he's also a heck of a football player. Get er done, Ric!

the Falcons gave up their 27th pick, a first-round pick in 2012 (No. 22 overall), a second-round pick in 2011, a fourth-round pick in 2011, and a fourth-round pick in 2012 to move to #6 for Julio Jones...

we are picking at #26, worth it?

I guess it depends on what happens with Mario.

If he stays, we definitely need to make a move up to the 10 spot or so, willing to move 2 #1's, a third, and a fourth. That #2 is a NECESSITY and Floyd is the right guy at the right time.

If Mario leaves (and I hope it doesn't happen), then we can bring in a FA. It's not incumbent on us to fill this void exclusively via the draft..

Said it before but I'll say it again. Stephen Hill's lack of game tape is damning. Both Calvin Johnson and Damaryius Thomas got their receptions at GTech, it begs the question if Hill was so good why couldn't he get his reps too?

First of all, Calvin played in a different offense. Paul Johnson wasn't there yet. Don't lump him into that.

So you only compare him with Demaryius.

Demaryius had 3 seasons. He only exceeded 650 yards in one. That final season was 46 catches 1154 yards (25.1 avg) 8 TDs

Stephen Hill 3 seasons also. Only exceeded 200 yards in one...this last one. 28 catches 850+ yards 5 TDs. BUT in year 2...he LED the team in receiving with his 291 yards or whatever it was. So it was more a team running vs. throwing issue than anything.

I'm still one who says don't draft Hill in round 1. But your reasoning is off. He put up #'s pretty decently given the restrictions. I just don't think the skill is there to warrant him in the 1st...and those hands, as juicy pointed out.. ugh
