Fatty, I'm sorry things suck right now.

With that said, this thread is hilarious! :D

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to ima_drummer2k again. :)

Meh. Life could be a LOT worse.

I just hate that your emotions go in such wild waves. I felt on top of the world this morning, and now I'm irritated about it.

We will see how this weeks stuff goes.

And I've got date #4 on Sunday with this girl that reminded me yesterday that I'd told her I'd take her to dinner.

Methinks Jugdish is kind of a creepy-internet stalker type.

I know what you mean man. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

Sometimes the way you handle things kind of remind me of how my dad was. It isn't that he didn't know what his faults were, he knew EXACTLY what they were and you didn't even have to ask him, he would tell you. Over and over. He would tell you how he was an alcoholic and how he made bad decisions with women. Then he'd say how he may be a lot of bad things but he isn't a hypocrite or fake. His life is\was an open book.

That was his way of not dealing with his faults.

Fatty, you are a cool dude and I think I'm one of the few that do get you. Also know that when I tell you this, I'm not piling on you but saying it as a friend. If you know your faults and where you have screwed up before, don't keep repeating them. Instead of acknowledging them as lip service, make the hard, responsible decision to do it different in the future. If that means you need a lifestyle change, make a lifestyle change. If that means some people are not good for you, don't be around them. If that means not being the *******, even though you really want to be the ******* because it has defined you in the past, don't be the *******. If it means being a better man to whatever woman you are with, be the better man.

During my first marriage I wasn't a horrible husband\father but I definitely wasn't good either. I am probably not the best husband\father on earth now but I'm much better. I seriously had to make changes that were work for me. It isn't work now and I'm better off for it, and more importantly, so is my family. I am genuinely happy.

A lot of that is part advice \ part personal anecdote. I'm not trying to say, "Hey, be like me and you'll be an awesome person and live an awesome life!" I'm just throwing out my two cents.

Fatty, you deserve to be happy and I hope you find it.

I hear you. And I'm still working on the changing stuff. Already started Chantix which has helped a lot with the smoking. I haven't quit, but I've cut down quite a bit. The drinking comes and goes. I'd like to cut down, but I enjoy some wine after work. Started working out in the gym a couple weeks ago. Nothing major, but it's a start.

The ex really let me know what my faults are. I'm changing them because it seems it's what most women would want.

And for those who think I'm just recently pissy? Here's a photo of me back in the day being pissed off about having to take a picture.

Could be because you're standing next to an Aggie.

BTW, wasn't Chantix suspected of causing mood swings/depression/suicidal thoughts? I know it was in the news for that, but don't know what became of it.

I've heard that, but I didn't experience side-effects other than nausea at times.

Yup! Anyone want to start this thread? You?

I need to go to my parents and get some photos to scan. I never was one of those people who posted their baby pics on Facebook...

I'm happy to start it but need to do some scanning first! Oh god there are ridiculous pictures, since I was very fat and born into the era of plaid.
