That and the fact that he saw it was him against the world because his coaches were too busy being laid back and looking cool. Yao's awesome, I love him. I wish he would have thrown a chair at the refs head. it's a joke. It's like why do we keep watching this farce. And we got Rick A wanting to turn Yao into a "high post pansy" I will never forget Rick Adelman in training camp saying "Yao will never be as good as Vlade" when talking about passing from the high post. JVG is right, Adelman doesn't understand how to apperciate and coach a dominate big man like Yao. Scola can't even get a ******* shot in the low post. oh open up the lanes and have Yao in the high post passing to Bonzi in the low post. it's sick.
Well its about time yao showed some emotion towards the refs he needs to continue that into the postgame comments even if it means him being fined he can spare some change to get some attention from stern and the nba along with the refs. Yao has every reason to be upset because his whole career hes been getting pounded on by guys with no foul and when he barely touches someone he gets whistled for a foul. Its time rockets do something about the refs
nope, sore tailbone or coccyx, is the final segment of the human vertebral column,......... he fell hard on his azz last game...remember saying "back" implies it is higher up in the lumbar, or thoracic vertebra
I don't ever want to see Yao in the high post passing the ball to Bonzi in the low post or I'm going to start ejecting, ejecting chairs through my windows.
but he's gotta be prepared for a stare-down or fight and his teammates on the court have to help catch his back. I agree, if you are going to "foul", foul hard...
I hate to use this word, but Yao's got to be more proactive with his complaints. Yao's now got Tim Duncan's "wide-eyed astonished look and the follow-up complaint trailing the ref" schtick down pat right after getting called for a foul. That's good. But guys like Duncan aren't just complaining right after the foul; they're talking before that too. During timeouts or free throws, you see them going up to refs to tell them what to look for. Doesn't work all the time, but I bet it makes them think twice while calling the foul. It's probably more effective than just badgering them right after the call. That said, Yao's come a long way from his first years in the league when he wouldn't say anything at all.
i think yao is finally lost his nice, which i think he should do it much easier. but the problem with yao isn't all about refs, the thing about yao is , i always feel he is not aggresive enough, today he started very well, there is no way king can stop him today, but since first quter, he find himself back to yesterday, he is fearing to turnover when king try to front him. look at who is defending him today, start with moores, and miller , finally a rookie, he should ask for the ball every time! ref call u? u should make some plays to make ref to call who defending u. even to fool refs. why? because you are superstar!!!
Remember Yao's rookie year? He only put up monster numbers after someone hurt him or clobbered him. Maybe the sleeping giant has awakened.
finally the big stiff... does the right thing and gets ejected... next step... is if they call a blocking foul on him... when a dude jumps into him again.... he should foul the guy hard... after that... few elbows where he should draw blood... or break a bone or two... fouling out....games ejections... or suspensions suit me just fine....if he plays with aggression
