Is it too late or do we have to wait until the offseason.

If dumb, boring and mediocre players are good for the team, yes, JVG did a great job. Les obviously loves what JVG has done and .... fired him.

How come the Rockets couldn't trade Head but all of a sudden when he's released he gets a lot of attention ?

Link, please? Dave D'Alessandro disagrees with you.

Luther Head has reportedly decided against signing with the Nets.

The primary reason Head decided not to choose the Nets was that they couldn't make guarantees with regard to playing time. The Newark Star-Ledger reports that Head will choose between Milwaukee, Miami, Dallas, San Antonio and possibly Charlotte.

Because he is almost free. Don't you get it. Doesn't cost them anything in trade and only a couple of hundred grand in cash if they keep him all season. At the price the Rockets might consider him again. Even at that price the nets weren't willing to promise playing time. Shows how much they thought of him.

    Head Chooses Miami

Luther Head, the combo guard who was recently bought out by the Houston Rockets, will sign with the Miami Heat, according to his agent.

Head will sign once he clears waivers Wednesday morning. He was courted by Dallas, New Jersey, Milwaukee and San Antonio but chose Miami because of the chance for playing time, the opportunity to make a nice playoff run and the possibility of staying with the Heat over the long haul.

Head averaged 4.8 points and 1.6 assists in 22 games with the Rockets this season.

Not smart, he should have rode the Spurs bench for a chance to get a ring.

Miami won't do anything in the playoffs, but he might get some playing time alright.

Dude... he's Luther Head. He's not in "ring chaser" mode. He wants minutes and a contract.

No chance. If you had a choice between Drew Gooden and Head, you would go for Gooden, too.
