Funny story related to what UNMKT was talking about, my friend who lives just a couple blocks away from me, was telling me one day that this owl at his grandmas house who lives up the street from him, and as he was walking home one night from a freinds house, this owl came flying by his head and almost hits him, he said that he had seen the owl up in his grandmas tree before, but never thought it would fly at him. I was laughing at him while he was telling me about it, UNMKT's story is giving me second thoughts..........

My sister-in-law lives in Edgewood, right outside of Albuquerque. Her fiancee said they do have owls out there. Something I didn't know was that they'll come out of the sky and pick up cats! They take the cat way up high, then just drop the poor thing to kill it! You know what happens next. Creepy.

as a matter of fact, it looked like one of those harry pooter's owl's from that movie.

Big ass eye's & 3 ft. long and wide claws.

What to do what to do. Im a prisoner in my own home.

My life did flash in front of my eyes like it often does for the littleest of things (a few years ago, my tire popped on my bike, while going 15-20 mph, i flew in the air, landed on the pavement)(people flipping me off, while driving in my car, i cant stand that)(losing my shoes before school, having to wear my old ones)

    stuff like that

I was working out in my yard the other day. It happened to be the really hot part of the day out here in West Texas. I stopped for a period of time and sat under the tree. After awhile, I saw vultures circling above. Now, I didn't really think they were interested in me, but I thought I would move around a bit just in case. :)

Forget respecting owl, after hearing these stories I FEAR owls! I'm not shocked that they try and kill cats, a regular cat (domestic cats, wild cats), could wipe the neighborhood clean of owls if you left them outside and they hunted long enough. Creepy stories I tell you.

In fact I have a weird story. I was on my way home from school one day, and I was walking down the street, suddenly this big @ss dog shows up and is walking on the side walk on the other side of the street. So I'm scared right and I walk a little faster, the dog walks faster. I stop, the dog stop, the whole time just checking me out. Then it starts growling and barking. So I'm freaking out at this point and I start running, and I'd be damned if that dog doesn't start running to. The whole time this is going on it's directly opposite of me on the other side of the street. So I finally get to my house and the dog starts to cross the street and come after me, and I take my book bag and get ready haul back and defend myself, and I guess this scared the dog and it turns around and runs off to the local park. Needless to say that shook me up for the next couple of days!
