It's really neat that we're so good on the road.

I've noticed we've been able to close out games. We now beat teams..and continue to have leads on them the entire game..and now are closing them out.

Our guys are calm and execute in clutch times.

I like the stat where we're like 29-4 when Sura plays. or 29-11?
And when Tmac scores more than 30..or Howard gets at least 10 rebounds..same with Yao...then we do good.

Really..I love the Rockets..and we are good. But I still don't think we can beat healthy Suns..

Spurs..we have to just play well and contain Tony Parker and Ginobili..and cover Duncan..watch out for their other role players like Bowen.

I don't know. I'd like to see us beat a healthy Suns team. But of course..Suns may not be healthy during playoffs. Hopefully, our team will be. :)

    I can't wait for playoffs.

I agree that Spurs cannot contain Tmac. McGrady has trouble with mobile..taller and bigger guys..Spurs don't have someone like that. We can get rid of Bowen with picks and stuff.

We have to play our best to beat Spurs and Suns. Sonics..we've beaten them..In order to beat Sonics...YAO!!!!

as for Jo Ho - ignore the checken littles, check the polll I posted, a super majority of people think we will be fine (or better) without him

as for those who say we can't beat SA, I say, we play them tough and with James and Sura, we match up amazingly well with them -
We put Wesley on Manu, James/sura on parker, Duncan can get his - just stop everyone else

    Exactly.

Home cooking is not good for our team.

Part of the problem is that we have too many home games on Sunday. Why? Because we're on TV a lot, WHICH I LOVE, however comma, the Rockets play like crap at home on Sunday. They win, they lose, but they did nearly throw away the game against the Kobe-less Fakers.

We have a better chance of neutralizing him or shutting him down with Yao then they do with anyone against McGrady.

I don't know about you guys, but this team is starting to make me believe......
By the way, i think that the rockets are built to beat san antonio, hopefully they get deep into the playoffs and face eachother to find out.
I really don't think that PHX can win deep into the playoffs...I mean just look at what happened in the 4th quarter against the rockets....a couple missed shots, they get flustered, don't play any defense and before you know it, they down 20.
No D, no wins in da playoffs......phx has to prove they can win, and anything can happen in a 7 game series.

Bingo! And those that say Yao really tired out by the time of the playoffs last year didn't really take notice how much he mustered to defend Shaq last year, they both basically cancelled eachother out. Let's not forget Yao does step up for big games, if not allowed offensively then he's gonna do his best to not allow his opponent defensively. It was mainly a Malone, Fisher, Rush vs Steve show when it counted most. So even if it's at the least a repeat of last year with Duncan instead of Shaq, it leaves Tracy vs no one. :D

They have a dirty player in Bowen who is capable of a lot of nasty things.

jeff, ya think you might be guarding your optimism a bit? :) no one wants to get overexcited and then dissappointed. however, the players believe. and as with anything in life, you can't achieve a goal unless you aim for it. we're going to the finals this year jeff, believe it.
