I bet they have a lot of things they can say beforehand and once the player does something they can pull it out

The anti-dunking crowd from the other thread would have preferred a layup.

It seems like Mbenga should be renamed Banged-on, the man is a walking human-highlight in all the wrong ways. Sorry about the sloth reference, but if he keeps getting dunked on like that, that's what he's really going to look like. And yes, some would have said that these face-melting dunks are the same as layups ;) .

And our very own Trevor Ariza, although he didn't quite make it.

Uhh, if you try to contest every shot at the rim, you will get dunked on a lot. Mbenga averages over 1 block for just 11min per game. He's been impressive when he's gotten 30min per game playing time.

The Nuggets are underrated and overlooked.

Disagree. The Nugs aren't consistent enough to be underrated. If they could play like this every night (and it's effort that's the problem, not talent), they would be wildly underrated. Unfortunately, there are too many games like the Milwaukee, Atlanta and Miami games the Nugs had in the last week for that to be true.

The Nuggets are very talented and have good depth. What is preventing them from being a great team is what's in their heads, or lack of.

I laughed at how the commentator kept repeating about J. R. Smith, "Well, he is certainly very talented." And everybody knew the "but..." statement that he didn't say. Smith is the epitome of what this Nuggets team is.

    Perfectly stated, in my opinion.

I really think the Nuggets are underrated and since they could beat the Lakers, who knows, maybe we can beat them too! (i hope that's not just wishful thinking..)
