I should add anyone who actually bothered to consider the situation knew that it was all goofy speculation... still, isn't that most of what happens here?

Agreed. I'm glad that thread went down even if it was based on bad info because I'm sick of discussing Bosh. I assume 95% of the threads started in this forum are based on a lie, an exaggeration, a rumor or a complete misunderstanding of reality anyway.
The Randolph thread probably held more truth that a good majority of the ESPN "insiders" who come on primetime saying they are hearing from a "source" close to the situation who says that Lebron is doing such and such... Y ou dont have to apologize for posting a forum dude, regardless of what the Thread Nazis on this site tell you. You are helping keep fans interested in the Rockets at the slowest part of the year... that alone is worth a far fetched thread or two. Just dont go saying that T-Mac was spotted working out at the Toyota Center with Yao stating that he will back in Rockets red next season and this year "Its on Me."
Not so fast! The past 24 hrs. has made realize that this move would benefit our team alot more than a Bosh trade. First of all, it has been discussed before that getting Bosh would not be that much of an upgrade over Scola. IMO, really not necessary. We are content with having Scola start at PF. Getting Randolph makes more sense to me because at 20, he would be the youngest player on this team. He still has more upside than Hill and Chase. He even has more upside than some of the guys coming out of the draft. At 20 years old, if he were in the draft now, he would go in the top 10. I can say this because he, unlike some of the 20-23 year olds in the draft, has proven that he can play in the NBA. He has been in the league 2 years already and has made somewhat of an impact. With more playing time, maybe he could be starting in the 2nd half of the season. If he were to come to the Rockets now, he would be Bosh-like in 2 seasons. IMO, of course.
