Ebi is a better player than EG right now. No questions asked.

EG is nowhere as athletic, nor can he pass and dribble like Ebi.

I know that, but with a name like Ndubi Ebi I was wondering if he or his family was from Africa.

iv seen ebi play in person when he came to my bros school. from wut i saw he can jump really high and block shots he dribbled the ball up the court once and made a nice no-look pass to his teamate but i never saw him take a jumper. he only played about 12 min the whole game (it was a blow out) but he still had about 18 points and 3-4 blocks. the one thing that sticks in my head was the very first play of the game they dished it to him cutting and he just dunked right over about three players 2 handed it was awsome. he looked ok from wut i saw and would not mind houston taking him if they could get him.

That's pretty funny and sad. Anyways...his "lone problem" made him do drugs...which made him a horrible basketball player. He had great footwork? Was good with his back to the basket? Could easily get around people? Wow. What happened?

Ebi.......well I like him just because he is from Houston. But he weighs as much as Cat! He must be skinny!

you guys need to cut Eddie some slack. the guy plays quite possibly the most physical position in bball while giving up tons of strength and experience. if the rox trade him I hope he blows up a la J. O'Neal at which point most of you will call for Rudy's head because he gave up the perfect compliment to Yao. what losers

In SLAM 69 it says his parents are from Nigeria and he was born in Lodon and they moved here when he was a really young age!

Why do people compare EG to O'Neal? What similarities do they have? O'Neal didn't get PT because he was in a logjam. EG gets minutes, and failed to do much with it.

The odds of EG being more than an average PF are slim to none. I have a better chance of catching SARS in Houston.

This year's draft is a DEEP draft. The 20-year-old age limit rumor (whether it's true or not) scared those international and HS kids and made most of them declare.

Anyway, those many Euro kids may take this Ebi kid out of lottory but I see no reason why he won't be drafted in the 1st round. I mean if Miles was a No. 3 pick and Griffin was a No. 8, this guy is definitely 1st round material.

GMs just love raw athletic freaks even without much skills. There may be bust examples, but they just won't ever earn and understandably because all GMs think their coaches can teach an "athlete" to be a "basketball player".

I saw Kendrick Perkins play at the Academy Tournament last year. He's got the size but his game is nowhere near ready for the NBA. He struggled badly against the 7-3 center from Rice HS in New York.

Did you go the one from his Jr year?

That 7 ft 3 center is Shagari Alleyne who signed to play with Kentucky...

Perkins didn't do much when I saw him play against Louisville Male HS in that same tourney.

I saw Ebi at the same tourney, and was impressed with him. He looked better than one Carmelo Anthony.

If i was someone like Ebi, Iwould go overseas for a yr or so and come back. College does nothing but waste time, but if he goes overseas, he can work on his shooting and overral skills. This is where I think the nba is missing the point on the nbdl. Those kids that come out who are no way ready, if they could go to the nbdl and develop, teams would have a better feel about what kind of player they are getting. Every team in the nba should have a nbdl franchise. They could get these kids in the late rds, send them to the nbdl to play against men and see how they respond. Plus you could have your teams coaches down there working with him on certain skills and the teams plays. The NBA is really missing the boat on the nbdl.

Ebi did it for the money pure and simple.
He has told many thats why he declared, and new girl is partially right the 20 and up rumor has many Highschool players declaring.

I think this would be beneficial if the Rockets somehow could land this kid and mold him into another Jermaine Oneal.
