    I LOVE EWF, but I must admit I get tired of September. I guess that happens when your band plays it almost every weekend for the better part of a decade.

    Philip Bailey is one of the most underrated vocalists ever. He has a 4 octave range and his falsetto...oh, man.

    Probably the smoothest most soulful voice since Smokey Robinson.

    I particularly love their horn section. They have been touring with other bands like Chicago and sharing the stage for certain songs. Check some of those out from the performances at the Greek Theater a few years back.

    EWF is one of those bands that people that know me can't believe I like....it harkens back to the days when I was into 70s funk bands.

    "EW&F" and Chicago are touring together? Are they playing Austin? I swear I saw them on the same bill in Houston back in the day. Just great music. I wasn't a music snob back then. I loved damn near everything that was good, if you know what I mean. Gotta admit I'm a bit of a music snob now. I'd rather listen to fingernails on a blackboard than 90% of the rap music around.
