Yeah, I'm not sure where weak draft class came from. The 2009 draft was one of the best in the last 15 years and continues to get better as the players from it do.
Did we ever actually own the rights to James Johnson? I thought he only just played for the Vipers. Kind of like how we never actually signed Whiteside but he was on our radar for years. Brockman definitely was on Houston's roster in training camp one year, though.
Well, imagine how Minnesota fans feel knowing that they had the fifth AND sixth picks and KAHN! drafted Ricky Rubio and Jonny f'n Flinn over Steph. And to add insult to injury, KAHN! drafted Ty Lawson at #18 in the SAME DRAFT then traded him to Denver.

Taj would fit perfectly here. His contract is pretty fair for the quality of minutes he puts up. Solid rebounder, great defender with length to boot, and can actually knock down a 15' jumper. Not sure what it would take for them to trade him though. Pau Gasol is aging and won't be their cornerstone for very long at PF. Nikola Mirotic is more of a face up stretch 4 and Noah is expiring this season..... hopefully they start the season of terribly and decide to rebuild midseason.
It seems like a lot, but it would be interesting to know if the Rockets are even in the lead on this, and if so by how much. I think a graph would help.
Understandable. He doesn't have an "NBA body" old school scouts would prefer. Rockets totally different though they skipped on Draymond Green. Just proves warriors have a better eye than Morley's above average talent for spotting talented bargains.
