Ah, the intelligence and IQ of this forum has gone down the drain. Richard freaking Jefferson. What can he do except for dunking on fastbreaks? Richard Jefferson and Kenyon Martin are creations of the great visionary and artist of the 20th century, Jason Frederick Kidd You don't receive equal value for a superstar if you trade him. And you definitely don't trade a superstar with health concerns and expect to get anything good in return. Having said that, I wouldn't mind seeing Tmac getting traded if it would help the Rockets (very unlikely) and help Tmac go deep in the playoffs. I think Tmac could do more with a team like the Bulls or the Pacers or the Magic (if Rox would trade for GHill's expring contract in order to sign a free agent) who have all the pieces in place except for a great player and an explosive scorer.
Getting the best player in the NBA is a problem I would love to have on my team The NBA is a business and in business success depends on taking risk and that risk paying off. If Tmac stays healthy, the Rockets get screwed and will get a thank you card from Rod Thorn who happens to be laying on a beach sipping pina colada and sitting by the NBA championship trophy. Who would stop the Nets with Kidd running the show and Carter and Tmac on the wings?
