Don't act like it is easy to trade up for one player in the draft. We'd have to give up our 2012 1st, 2nd and 3rd and our 2013 1st and 2nd witch is alot to give up. It usually doesn't work out well for the team that trades up 24 spots. Just look at Atlanta they traded for Julio Jones who is a stud but now they have MAJOR holes on defense and don't have high enough picks to draft an impact player! So just sit where you are our try to trade back if you can. There will be quality WR throughout this draft like Sanu, McNutt, Toon, Wright, Criner and Randle. All of these guys can start next to AJ on day one. No need to trade up to get an impact WR who can start right away.
the price to move up would be way,way to high. giving up that many draft picks can cripple all the growth this franchise has made and send it right back to a mediocre team struggling for .500.
there is basically no rookie WR where I would pay the price to trade from the #26 pick to the 3rd. based on the trade value chart for the draft, which a standard a most teams use, the texans would have to trade this years 1, 2 and 3rd round picks. Plus, next years 1, 2 and 3. And that's the best case since the 3rd pick is valued at 2200 and my scenario summed up to 2180 (i guesstimated a late round pick again for next year).
Plax is more of a #3 at this point of his career. Go after Wayne and draft a speed wr to be our #3. Time to get rid of that trash at the #2 and #3 wr spot.
