i've said it already some time ago. i joined last december. was upgraded a few weeks later. then one night i cursed an unreasonable mcgrady fan (the only time i've cursed here). next thing i knew i was knocked back to a rookie. never got back up, despite my obvious contributions to this board. lol. so, if you're clutch himself, or his brother-in-law, relative of any sort, or a friend, please tell him to upgrade me - so i can edit my posts to correct typos or better yet start a thread.
i'll try to upgrade you. its hard to figure out which tmac fan you insulted cause they all have the same names. you get +points for the original name.
ever since mj, they've been looking for the next mj. grant hill, vince carter, kobe bryant, lebron james, now possibly chris paul. it's really glorious (convenient, too) while you're in it as a player. but once they identify the next golden boy, you're forgotten quickly and will be underrated most likely. - i'm saying this because carter is a typical example of that.
i don't know, but i know you are the only one who didn't even care about saying congrats to Horry. there's only one of them that compared him to that scrub SAR. you.
1. Have no problem with the original thread, its a great accomplishment regardless of how much/little he had to do with those teams making the playoffs 2. In the original thread the guy said Horry is a HOF, only reason i replied 3. First of all, bradley has won more playoff games then Yao, so according to the winning is all that matters theory wouldnt you put bradley ahead of him? Also, SAR had far superior stats to horry, so your Yao to bradley comparison is irrelevent, pick someone with far superior stats to Yao to make your point 4. No hate for horry, why would i hate him? he helped my favorite team win rings 5. Special group no doubt, but that group had ONE HOF player, Dream
Nope go back and re-read some of the posts, you can pick any random decent player who never won, it was an example of how Horry had luck on his side, playing with great players. You're acting like Dream, Shaq, and Duncan would have zero rings had they had SAR on their team instead of Horry
SAR's stats is this: 700 something games without making the playoffs until Ron Artest saved him. Then STILL LOST in the playoffs. That guys sucks, if he and Juwan Howard were on the same team, the team would go 0-82.
no thats an idiotic way to think, i loved stevie francis b/c you cared and always played his hardest, but i wouldn't vote him into the HOF regardless how much i like him
I take nothing away from what Horry has achieved in his career. No doubt he has hit some HUGE shots. Still, I don't think it's even an argument for him to go to the HOF. Someone mentioned him averaging 7 and 5 for his career. Assuming that's right........no HOF for Bob. I did enjoy him in MIB though.
He has played over 2 seasons worth of playoff games, hit shot after shot, and showed up huge. If it is all about the playoffs and all about rings then he is in. If I dreamed up a career for myself it would be pretty close to Bob's.
basically another juwan howard was thought he was a #1 option, got paid like a #1 option, but in reality was not that good of a player. he was setting a record for NOT making the playoffs, it was like 700 or 800 games without being in the playoffs, then the Kings got Ron Artest, Artest's manhood took that team to the playoffs and SAR's streak of futility was over. of course they do anything in the playoffs. SAR, the opposite of Horry.
