Uhh.... when did the United States become part of the world? I thought we were one of those flying continents held up by rocket boosters that can fly off to Mars the next time Europe gets uppity...

Oh ****! He called himself a citizen of the world??!?! I guess I won't be able to vote for him then... it's UNTHINKABLE that any true American would consider himself to be part of the world that America is actually part of!

I know we're supposed to avoid ad hominem remarks, but Trader Jorge is either Ann Coulter or is proof of Manchurian Candidate style brainwashing, of which he and Coulter are both victims, making the rest of us THEIR victims.

I have a family member who said the same thing, basically. Nice guy otherwise, he just comes from a place called Midland where they drop the babies on their heads at birth so that they grow up to say things like, "I just couldn't vote for a Muslim" and "The President said he's been trying to implement alternatives to oil dependence for years."

When you try to answer these remarks with, "He isn't a Muslim..." or "Bush said that and you believed him? Shell Oil is s***ing his c**k so hard, there's no way...", they just sit there as if you're Charlie Brown's teacher Miss Othmar: "Wah wah wah, wah."

That's what Obama was referring too when he said there are some who seem to take pride in their ignorance.

Personally I think it’s just their lame excuse for not admitting their cowardly racism.

I see that voters are choosing the constitutionally-prohibited alternative in the voting by a margin of 4-1. Are the folks that voted for "Yes" aware that this is illegal, or is this just pure lack of knowledge on display for all to see?

Oh well, it sounds like such a cool idea to have another country's citizen as our President!!!11!! Oh. Wait.

Where has sound judgment gone? Where has basic common sense gone?

None. But this is brought to you by the same think tank that created:

"Oh noes! John McCain sleeps with black ladies! He not CLEAN and PURE! Oh noes! Vote for Bush -- he sleep with crazy-eye Laura!"

In that year, Trader_Jorge's "poll" (sic) would read:

Would you vote for a man who had mixed race affairs?
    (A) Yes, his lack of honesty, decency, judgment and goodness do not bother me.
    (B) No, this suppressed secret hints at something much more disturbing about John McCain.

Yes, I am sure this thread is not a "poll" (sic), and that it is brought to our worsened eyes by the genius that attacked McCain as an interracial philanderer.

And there's a Trader style "answer" for you! Cheers.

    LMAO @ OP

You're pissed about this r****ded report yet no peep from you about the fact that Joe Lieberman is a dual citizen and he advocates policies that favor Israeli interests in the Middle East over American interests?

I guess since the Media didn't give you marching orders to be upset about a guy with divided loyalties running for VP you were cool with that. But a manufactured story they point at you about Obama, you're up in arms.

There are naturalized citizens in Congress and all over government, which by definition means these people were citizens of "another" country at one point in time. This includes Kissinger and other key Executive branch figures. Almost all the key first generation post WWII Jewish figures in this country were naturalized. Nothing wrong with that... but it's hypocritical if you have no problem with them but have issues with others simply reacting to keywords "Muslim" or "Asian."

Regardless of anything else, Obama had an American mother. He has the Constitutional right to run for President. Anyone saying anything else is simply misinformed

If you have a legitimate concern out of interest for our country then yeah I could hang with that. But a totally inconsistent, hypocritical non-issue that someone mouths simply because the media or political action groups tells them to is just asinine

Why didn't the idiot liberals just nominate the Che Guevara himself for president? He's another celebrity with no meaningful experience in American politics

The President should be an American. Period.
