I'd prefer to keep JVG. He is a proven coach that is a defensive mastermind. He consistantly gets his teams to the playoffs and is nearly universally loved by his players.

On a Board full of JVG haters, even TMac votes for Coach Jeff: McGrady said he intends to retire with the Rockets.

"As long as I have the big man ( Yao Ming,) the coach that I have ( Jeff Van Gundy) and the people upstairs, we're going to be all right," he said.

The league will be better when both are gone and their horrible, controlling style is dead.

Agreed. And the league will be much better when it have more offense masterminds like Mike D'Antoni. Suns basketball is really fun to watch, and they are winning also.

When JVG and Brown were both FA coaches, I wanted Brown. But looking back, I think JVG is the better choice between the two. Brown might be the better coach overall, but I dont like the way he waffles. JVG seems more committed to the long haul.
