Does the name Marcus Liberty ring a bell? In 1987 he was called by many the greatest high school player ever, can't miss NBA Hall of Famer, etc. Yao has already proven he can handle the pressures of being an NBA phenom better than most, AND he's a center. He's already led a pro team to a championship. He's a team-oriented player in a league full of showboaters. And in a global marketing sense, he'll be worth more than Lebron James will EVER be, even if James becomes the best player in the league. There's no upside to making such a trade, and no sane GM would do.
