I thank God that this is still a Rockets forum. I've seriously had my doubts recently.

They have alot of belief in Bynum turning out to be a dominant C, he avg 8pts and 6reb last year and he'll still be only 19 when the new 2007-08 season starts and should be starting next year. They talk about him as being the next Shaq, I know as I live in LA. So I'm not sure they are so quick to want to get a superstar C with him in the background.

If anything we should try to pick up the other parts if Kobe get's traded such as Odom and Walton if the Lakers are truely rebuilding. No PF is as athletic or as all-around talented as Odom, he could matchup with the typical strong forwards like Boozer or the new smaller quicker forwards like Marion. Walton is underrated, he's a winner in the Horry type mold, husltes, knows how to play and get the ball to the bigs and hits clutch shots.

Um no, I didn't. As a matter of fact, I haven't said anything about TMac the whole thread. Also as a matter of fact, I haven't posted anything on TMac ever since the loss. In fact, I'm not sure that I would trade TMac for Kobe either, which is one of the reasons I haven't said anything in that other ridiculous trade thread.

Having said that, I think fair criticism on either Yao or TMac is fine. For example, after Tmac's stinker in the first half of the first game, I said TMac better start playing like a superstar, he's stinking it up. None of this TMac sucks, trade TMac crap. That's absolutely fair.

And do I think TMac is getting hit without calls? Yes I do. But that's another topic. You want to talk about it? Start a new thread.

And yet the Lakers finished 7th in the Western Conference and lost in the first round of the playoffs to Phoenix for the 2nd straight year.

Yeah, his individual stats might look pretty at first glance, but the final results for his team aren't there. When is the last time Kobe did something in a meaningful game along the lines of what LBJ did last night against the Pistons?

When he made 2 game winners against the Suns just last year?
When he scored 81 points to lead the Lakers (they were down) from the lowly Raptors?

Get your facts straight man. What has Lebron done all season that's more spectacular than Kobe except playing Jordan-like style in ONE game..

    Hahaha

In reality though, he just stated why Yao will probably never go anywhere. Way too valuable to Les.

In JVG's offense, this is true. Just think of the countless turnovers we had trying to force feed Yao the ball. Those are on top of the many turnovers Yao himself had. No one can deny that he is turnover prone. I'm hoping Adelman will utilize Yao better and come up with some more creative ways to get Yao the ball.

    Hell yeah!

I am sure Yao wouldn't mind, and lots of L.A. Yao fans wouldn't have to choose between Lakers and Rockets. LOL.

There are a very few select players i would trade yao for. Kobe , Lebron and few others. Kobe is probaly the best player on the planet. i think most GM's would seriousely consider this trade.no shame in being traded for one of the most explosive scorers of alltime.

I wouldn't support Yao if I wasn't Chinese. There're many better winners out there to root for.
