    Nah.

Kobe brings a bad attitude to the team.

First he will get rid of T-Mac because 'he doesn't want to share the limelight.'

Then he will get rid of Adelman because 'he does not want to pass the ball around to get the offense moving'.

Finally, he will demand for another trade once the bunch of scrubs surrounding him fail to carry him pass the FIRST round. AGAIN!!!

Trade Yao and Howard for Kobe...trade Sura and Head and Synder for Artest...pick up Darko and Francis...

    Darko
    Artest
    Tmac
    Kobe
    Francis

Solid team with zero outside threat...We would just drive it in and attack all game. Tmac can coast because we just let Kobe take over...because-

This is Kobe's shot shot...this is Kobe's shot shot...this one's his, that one's his...this is Kobe's shot shot...you can shoot if you Bryant...you can't, if you not...cuz this one's his, that one's his...this is Kobe's shot shot...see Kobe is so hot...but the Lakers are so whack...see Kobe only passes to those who pass it back...he hasn't won a thing since the Laker's traded Shaq...when Manu tried to block his shot...and he gave his face a smack...when Kobe gets in a zone...no one can slow him down...except for little girls that he meets from out of town...now he demands trade...cuz he always gets his way...he'll step in with Jerry Buss and say... "this is Kobe's Shot"....

What I mean is that both are great players if not the best in creating shots for themselves off the dribble...but on crucial possessions, who will the ball go to. Pippen was more than willing (maybe not in private) to stand back and let the ball go into jordan's hands and wait for him to creat. I know Tmac was willing to layback on Yao in the past season...IMO is because he knows in tight situations, Tmac will have the ball in his hands. But with Kobe and Tmac will not work in my opinion

Oh sorry that's my fault. I just made a mistake. I thought this thread is about Tracy for Kobe. Now I notice it's Yao for Kobe. Sorry again

That idiocy you just spun is simply funny. They are not true centres yet play the position, does that somehow change the fact that Yao is better than they are? It says more for them that they are big men who don't want to play like one than it does Yao. You can add Amare Stoudemire to that list as well.

Obviously nobody can stop Lebron or Kobe, but during the course of the last couple of years, Tayshun Prince has done extremely well against both one on one, as well as anybody can do.

Also over the course of the two or three seasons, virtually all of the strips from Yao come from guards, which automatically means he is playing against double/triple teams and help defense. I think it's pretty funny that when Kobe and Lebron play against help D you are quick to jump on their nutsacks but when Yao does, he's just a turnover machine.

Get real, I love Yao, however, with Kobe and Tmac I could start Kwame at center and win all day everyday. The bulls one with Cartwright, Perdue, and Wennington with Jordan and Pippen.

No, but I'd trade this thread for the 10 others threads that are similar.

However, I'd not trade this response for anything in the history of man.

    Suck it.

    Trade value-

    1. Lebron (just due to his age)
    2. Kobe (best player in the league)
    3. Duncan (going to get older but really good right now)
    4. Wade (If healthy as good as anyone)
    5. Nash (Getting Old Fast)
    6. Amare (Could be rising fast)
    7. Yao (How far will he rise?)
    8. TMac (Injury concern)
    9. Carmello
    10. Garnett
    11. Arenas
    12. Dirk (ha ha)

I would trade for Kobe in a second, or Lebron or Duncan... the rest is a wash unless you believe Amare will get better... then look out.

You guys who would do it are idiots. Yao is one of the most undervalued players to produce those type of numbers. He's only costing us 13mil. You want to trade for another SG that costs 19mil, when we already got one? Then you got idiots proposing we pick up ADDITIONAL people. Where's the money going to come from...

I wouldn't trade Sura's expiring contract for Kobe, even if the Rockets win the next 5 NBA championships. Don't forget Kobe got away with raping a girl in Colorado! I just wouldn't be able to enjoy following a team with Kobe, no matter how many games they win.

    Just my two cents...

what spin? the fact that PFs can now dominate the C position is something that is good? can u imagine these fools play C during the 90s? even a center like rik smits would dominate the center position today.

yao is an all-star. he's a good player. but if u saw how sloan defended him as the series wore on, is that a superstar treatment? please. there's a reason no one in the media blames yao for this loss. there's a reason none of the media talks about yao's performance after the series, not one bit. hell, even the chron didn't say anything but sympathize for him. this is a dude that has not won a playoff series either. he has not shown he can lead a team in the reg. season. and he's clamored w/ a bunch of compliments and all this.

we all know tmac struggled like a mutha. and he should get the blame. in games 3-4 and 6, i wanted to reach into the TV and slap him silly.

but for all the posters who clamor here about yao being a superstar and all this, it's ridiculous what he gets away with.

and in the utah series, which guard strips him? it's okur that is blocking and stripping him at least 2-3 times a game. okur, not tayshaun prince caliber. it's freaking okur. a white boy who flops.

if you're gonna say you're a superstar, you're gonna be treated like one. but he's not. he's treated like a normal all-star.

I like the time crybaby TMAC went to the allstar game... and the whole Western squad tried to give him game MVP... and he couldnt even do it then...

haha, wouldn't that show respect for tmac? u do know if we weren't over the cap, every star player would clamor to play with tmac right?

no one here is letting our big stiff off... but if you are going to use Tmac not being in shape...then how can you ignore the fact Yao was injured with a broken knee... 1 month before the playoffs...

you sound like a republican... using your selective evidence...

reason why Tmac deserves the most blame... and big stiff not to far behind him is...

Tmac 10 years in league, and Leader of the team...

Yao 5 years in the league, and second fiddle...

now when you say Tmac... should take less shots,... and Yao should be taking most of the shots...

Yao should be the leader of the team, and Tmac should be second fiddle...

and if that actually happens... I would be tearing into our big stiff... and laying the blame on him...if they pull off another playoff dud...
