Now Kobe asked for a trade. How about bringing Kobe + Tmac on the same
team? Kobe is near the level the MJ and Tmac is better than Pippen. Rockets
    will be an instant contender.

lakers might make money off of yao, but lakers would become the worst team in the L.

I would trade Yao for Kobe... too good to pass up

but then Rox would be putting to ball hogs... who could not get it done alone... when they engineered thats they would be the star player for their team...

I Would trade whatever for Kobe, he's the best player right now, plus he's more healthy than Tmac

This is an interesting scenario. Only because this is probably more feasible player for player wise than TMac for Kobe.

I doubt the Lakers want TMac, but they would definitely trade Kobe for Yao.

Kobe and TMac would be an interesting duo, but Kobe and Yao would be so much better, it's not even funny.

If you've been around here long enough the deal would collapse when LA asks for VSpan or Novak.

Yeah, it would be difficult to trade him because of his BYC status. It means his outgoing trade salary is only half of his actual salary. This means that a third team would have to become involved in order for a Kobe for Yao deal to take place. I've posted something similar in another thread, but here is something that would work:

Houston Gets: Kobe, Radmanovic, Othella Harrington and Charlotte's #22

LA Gets: Yao, Juwan and Rafer (Maybe Luther, the #26, or Sura's expiring instead of Rafer to make the deal sweeter for LA)

    Charlotte Gets: Battier

I would do it, but then we'd have to turn right back around and trade TMac, say, for Garnett.

Of course I would, Kobe is by far the best offensive player in the league. Yao for Kobe or Tmac for Kobe, either way, I would do it in a heart beat. Maybe we can do a three way trade and get chuncy here as well. Don't ask me how to cause I have no idea.

    ahhhh, daydreaming.
