I would however not mind having him to sink another game winning shot against the Spurs. If or when we meet the spurs in the playoffs I'd love the last two games to end with a Mcgrady 35 seconds heroics again and a Fisher game winning shot to end their hopes of a repeat for the ring. I have to admit I have seen him hit some really nice big shots. Damnnnn that contract. Why oh WHY did Mullin have to bloat his contract.

I think its been said but if you add either Pietrus or Troy Murphy to the deal i'd do it, but then its not really for Fisher, he is just the albatross you take to get Murphy or Pietrus.

Fisher's career assists per game: 3.1
    Wesley's: 4.7

Derek Fisher, with his championship experience, hustle, tenacity, passing ability and clutch shooting, would be a tremendous asset to the Houston Rockets. The answer is affirmative, the Rockets should make that acquisition.

and he is used to playing with a big man center and a dominant swing man. he would be a great pg in jvg's system except for the whole $37 million price tag. if he was cheaper i'd be all for it but that contract is re-f-ingdiculous
