I would not trade T-Mac, but I will not flame you for starting the thread. The doctor said it's not chronic, that's all I need to know.

Is that good or bad news? That means it's a separate problem. The chronic back spasms issue will still remain, even after the five weeks.

The Knicks would probably take TMac's contract off our hands. How about TMac and Juwan for Steve Francis and MoT? It's a salary match. If we did that deal, JVG would surely quit, so Les would save the rest of the money on his contract.

Who's going to play center for us? AK doesn't play the 5 and don't expect deke to be able to play more than 10 mins/game next season.

    sorry can't help it. :p

How about T-MAC and Juwan Howard for Rashad Lewis and Ray Allen. I don't know if Seattle will do it though. But why not, one top 5 player for two top 20 players.

Here is my reason. This team is built with 2 superstars + scrubs. I doubt the management can improve the talents that much with the salary situation. So if one superstar is injured, the team is basically done. This trade will make the team more balanced and deeper. They will have sharp shooter in Ray Allen, good slasher in Lewis, playmaker in Alston and low post banger in Yao. This will be a heck of team and fun to watch. Then draft a PF with the first round pick, back up center with the second round pick, sign Sam Casell for MLE 2 years to inject some winner spirit into the team.

    My lineup:

    Sam Casell/Alston
    Ray Allen/Head
    Lewis/Bogans
    #1 pick/Swift
    Yao/#2 pick

you propose a trade that sends Yao to the Jazz, when the title of the thread you started is about trading Tracy?

are you an idiot, or 12 years old?

as far as t-mac goes...let him heal....you cant say his career is done, at all. he has had an bad year- injury, and personal wise- and has tried to play through it. When he is healthy, he is top five. He has not undergone surgery, had a blowout on his knee, had a hand cut off, etc. Let this dude heal before all you pessimitic internet mongers say he is done. WTF???? I thought this was clutch FANS....

as far as Yao, and Mac go...it is obvious that they are not on the trading block, and for good reason.

Pettniati you are an idiot if you read my post I didnt stay trade Yao.. I said a possible trade Idea that would Send Tracy for AK47 and I'll change the 2nd person to Memhet right now. ( The previous poster inputed Yao when I said Tracy ) Please read.....

If you guys seriously wouldnt even consider it.. Then you guys are Tracy Lovers for life not matter what?

So here's the new Trade Idea.. ( not real-life happenings )

You guys allways wanted someone to rebound and a replacemnt for Juwon Howard... Memhet does that.. 8+ rebounds a night and has a very high 3 point percetange to take away an intererior defensive player. For heaven sakes he has a higher 3 poitns % than T-mac..

AK47 is the Slasher and also a Awesome rebounder,Blocker, and Hustle like Ryan Bowen...

You add it up for you stat lovers thats more POints, Rebounds, defense, hustle points, and blocks. Menaning you would spread defenses even more. ( ala Pistons,Suns, San Antonio...

I can't believe it guys you wouldnt even consider it. I love T-mac and what he's done for us in the past ( which I admit is not long ) But you guys can't even see the Trade proposal through non bias eyes.

You've got a typo-brain fart in the second paragraph of your original post. You mentioned trading Yao instead of Tracy.

If Tmac's back is going to be a career problem we should trade him

    for

    PAUL PIERCE
    KG
    or AK47

I'd take Pierce+?, KG or Allen for TMac. The problem is that I don't think Boston, Minnesota or Seattle will want TMac in return. We'd have to get a 3rd party involved.

Trade T-MAc for unhappy Kevin Garnet. When the trade happens, he becomes happy warrior,1/2 of new TWIN TOWERS, part of the most dominant twosome in the league. I love this trade. Minny Sotta won't.

No. He has been through this before and rebounded. If he is too disabled to ever play again, he will retire.

A question for the knowledgeable: if a player retires before his contract expires, does he take with him any money on the remainder of the contract?

Depends on the agreement between club and player, I am sure T-Macs contract is guaranteed so the Rox would pay him and his salary would count against the cap.
