True, i called it vs Boston and vs LA after Yao's first few quick fouls that we would lose. We just don't have enough size off the bench especially against a team like LA. We have to bring Deke back fellas. Find a way to get luther and Hayes off for another tall player as well

One of our big three is getting traded before the deadline if we are under .500 or out of playoff contention. We all know its not Yao for obvious financial reasons. Unless Ron shows that he has more value to the team than Tracy then I think it will be him that gets shipped out.

Gerald Wallace and Okafor for T-Mac and Scola.
    Alston for Bargnani
    Dorsey for Sergio Rodriguez

    C: Yao Ming/ Okafor
    PF:Okafor/ Landry/Bargniani
    SF:Wallace/ Battier
    SG: Artest/ Barry/Francis
    PG: Brooks/S.Rodriguez/Francis/Barry

How come nobody makes threads about T-Mac when hes droppin 30 points 8 rebs and 7 assists shooting 50 percent with 80 percent FT, but when he has a bad game everyones bashing him...T-Macs time is not up yet, let the man get through his injury and then talk...

i think we should sit him for a week or 2

You are talking about how he'll perform in a single game. McGrady doesn't do what you are describing on a regular basis.

HELL NO tmac just had a few off games thats all were you guys complaining when he had 25+ the two games before that? i admit his performance was horrible lately but thats usually the deal with mcgrady, against bad defensive teams he looks like the orlando tmac but when there is a good defender on him he just shoots fadeaway jumpers the whole game. Tmac needs to sit out i think, i miss the 26,27 y/o tmac but sadly hell never be nowhere near that kind of player again. Trade him for rudy gay and one of there pg's and id do it in a heartbeat

Yes I would love to trade Rudy Fernandez for Tmac. Fernandez is a better passer then Mcgrady. Fernandez can draw double teams like Tmac. Fernandez leads his team in assists. Fernandez can carry a team when an injury occurs. Fernandez can take his team to game 6 against the Jazz with Deke, Scola, Landry, Rafer(injured in playoffs), Brooks, and Hayes. Fernandez can step up his game vastly in the playoffs. Fernandez has playoff experience.

Of course I will trade Tmac for Rudy Fernandez who wouldn't. Please whoever started this thread is a complete imbecile. Seven games in and everyone is whining about how terrible the Rockets are, its absurd. Exact same thing happened last year when a loss at Philadelphia and everyone declared us finished. Or when Yao went down, The Rockets won't make the playoffs or are lottery bound. Say what you guys want, but a true fan knows a season isn't decided on the 7th game or the 20th. It is decided when it is all said and done that is AN 82 GAME SEASON. We will be there at the end contending with the best of them. Its just sad that some of you so called "fans" have given up already.

You've been here since 2002 and you have over 3,000 posts and yet you are still a rookie...

T-Mac is not going anywhere, his salary is coming off the books after next season and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he just retires. I never thought basketball was top on his priority list in life and that was before he was traded to Houston... His talent has just always transcended his apathy, until recently due to age and injuries... I just hope he has one more push left in him for this season, this is our best shot at a title in the T-Mac era, talent wise.

How about we wait until the playoffs and watch McGrady average 27/7/6.

That sounds like a better idea.

When was the last time T-Mac didn't give it his all in the playoffs?

He may have struggled in the fourth quarters last year, but that doesn't mean he didn't drive.

Knee-jerk threads need to be shut down quickly.

Someone else posted the possibility of Lafrentz (exp. contract) and Outlaw and Fernandez. If that works money-wise, then yes, I'd consider the trade; would Portland?

Or I'd find a team looking to get under the cap in 2010 and see what you could do there.

It won't happen, though. We're stuck with TMac smiling out there no matter how poorly he's doing. And Yao with his post-Olympics exhaustion. And Shane out until God knows when. And Rafer sucking more than usual.

No I wouldn't do that. I would wait another year, let his contract expire, part ways, and welcome Dwayne Wade in his place
