If you think Fran Blinebury is a credible source on anything basketball related, you're also crazy.

T-Mac isn't going to drive so-so guys to greatness like MJ, but neither is anyone else.

Same can be said for Tim Duncan...he is not a guy who is gonna light a spark under other players to make them play harder. He is going to lead by example, and that is fine...hence why he is the greatest PF ever and has 4 rings.

T-Mac is the leader of the Rockets, whether you like it or not. It starts and ends with his quality of play, his style of play and his health...I don't even need to elaborate for you to understand this if you have been paying attention the last 4 years.

let the plays talk =/= lead by example. it's just a part of it.

you never hear td complainng about his teammates and coaches, or pulling excuses for himself when not playing well, or saying "it's all on me" and later pulling an "i'm tired", do you?

There are two types of writers; ones who can write, and ones who can't.

    Greg Popovich is a winner.

Has T-Mac ever had a David Robinson, Avery Johnson, and Mario Elie beside him? How about a Manu Ginobili, a Tony Parker, a Brent Barry, or a player like Michael Finley who takes a pay cut to play for a contender.

    Give T-Mac a chance.

The only real shot he had to advance was 06-07, and he showed up. Yao was getting abused by Boozer and Okur on both offense and defense.

I'm tired of defending him. Next season, yes okay we heard that before, next season he has to put up or shut up.

I just hope everyone is healthy.

It's like a terrible train wreck. You just have to stop and look.

You're crazy. Have you seen what T-Mac has done with this team when Yao has went down? Thats leadership right there. Each time, we could have easily folded. It's not like we had stacked rosters either. Just look at that 22 game winning streak. You think Manu could have done that with this roster?

Honestly, I doubt many other superstars could have done what T-Mac has dealt with these past couple of seasons. We have a team where half the players came from the d-league and players that are old and "washed up" along with 3 rookies and couple 2nd year players. No player in the NBA does more with less than T-Mac.

Is this illness going around?? Alot of people have been dullisional lately. This series shows just how good Manu is. For the last time he is a scorer, not a BASKETBALL PLAYER!!

How many games during the streak can you think of where Tmac elevated his game? Also, how many fully healthy, quality teams did we beat?

I'm pretty certain that before they acquired Gasol, Kobe had much less to work with.

Enough. As everyone said during and after the streak, if it were that easy why is it so rare?

They only became a contender after Gasol arrived.

Ever seen the movie "the perfect storm"?

The 22 game streak was more about our good fortune (in terms of scheduling and opponents' injuries/suspensions) than eliteness.

They were contenders before Bynum went down.

Dude your honestly not a rockets fan, no rockets fan would call our streak a fluke. We won because we played with Chemistry that we never played with before. You SERIOUSLY didn't watch every single game like me and most of the other guys on here did. The healthy Carl Landry was thriving off T-MAC's passes and was avging close to 15-17 ppg, Rafer was having the best games of his career and T-MAC stepped up big when we needed him to Hornets, Mavs, etc..

We won because of suspensions etc..? Wth is wrong with you? We beat most of the teams by a margin of double digits, and you refuse to look at the fact that we didn't have the best center in the league.

I doubted you at first but thanks for finally exposing yourself.
