Let's ask Dennis Lindsey to do us one more favour: trade T-Mac for Tony Park and Manu Ginobili. Salaries match. Okidoki!

lets just trade everyone out for the Argentian National Team and Keep Yao.

    That way we can have

    C Yao
    BC Oberto
    F Scola
    F Nocioni
    F Walter Hermann
    G Ginobili
    G Delfino
    G Prignoni setup man
    F Splitter

remaining six roster spots to rookies like Landry and Brooks.

We win the Championship with this team. lol

You know, I'd be okay with that if we kept Landry and Battier.

Manu isn't tough as nails...Everytime he gets slightly hit...he grabs his face somewhere and makes that face. People on this forum would go crazy when they see that...

We can't have 2 Argentine floppers on the same team. The Earth would implode.

the spurs already have two floppers in their team, oberto and ginobli. if they have kept scola... wow. that's like a guarnteed 10+ possesions.

    Aww but you forgot Horry.

The Jazz are worse floppers than Scola and Manu in my opinion. Deron went flying 10 feet when Brooks touched him. And Kirlenko apparently received so much physical contact from Scola that he was swung 360 degrees in the air. And Okur wacks a guy in the nose and falls down when the guy guards him.

The Jazz are still the biggest floppers in NBA. The cheapest playoff team to play in the league.

i would trade Tracy for anyone that can do the above AND average at least 20-22 a game...

there's only a few big/nasty guys that i would love to get on this team...we are lacking Vernon Maxwell type players...we are lacking fearless competitors that know when "It's Time" to carry the team on your shoulders or know when the fourth quarter comes around that you need to step up...

If some here want to give Scola a boost then go for Prigioni or Sanchez, both players are Calderon type of PG, lot of assists, few TO, few Shots, high percentage. And both played with Scola before, Prigioni might also come for cheap and you cover the PG position which is necessary.

Personally i would go for Sanchez because he is a great defender and is necessary against this league PG´s.

LOL - you waited all this time to say that, and after one game in the WC finals, something that TMac has not even sniffed.

    Come on...that is just silly.

no he has sucked for literally half of the playoffs. he only played well v. the suns consistently.

and he's playing with parker and duncan. this dude can't even play decent on ONE DAY REST. and people on this board were extrapolating his stats if he had played 35-36 mins per game lol.

it's easier to sniff the WCF if you have a team like the spurs, who can withstand manu's suckiness and still advance this far.

He has struggled this playoffs for sure......but he has been good enough to help lead them to the WC finals....

This thread is dead.....anyway......I already admitted that people had swayed me from the original topic.

Give McGrady Tim Duncan and he would have 3 championships as well.

let's not even get into that. but isn't it staggering to see how poorly he plays when he has to play heavy minutes consistently and by heavy, i mean 32-33  . hell, he struggles mightily in the playoffs off of ONE DAY REST???

pop knows more than we know. manu would probably retire in 3-4 years if he had to play 37-38 mpg.

So you are attributing his lackluster play to the extra 2-4 minutes per game he's been playing instead of the ankle injury? Ok.
