LeBron didn't win dick until Wade and Bosh in 2012. Yao was done in 2009. LeBron would have gotten his **** pushed in in the west from 2005 - 2009 and then left Houston
I don't think I would do it. I can't see Lebron ever averaging 32+ points a game, and I doubt he'll ever develop a jump shot. Besides, the thought of him not being in Cleveland is pretty much impossible to conceive right now. Tmac is the future. I wouldn't trade him for anyone. On another note, there's this Rookie in Sacramento, Kevin Martin, that looks pretty promising
Lol, awful necro bump, but some of these old replies/takes are just sad. If you didn't think LeBron was going to be one of the best to play the game .. Wow, just like Wtf??! Like this guy calling out Shady who was spot on. James was going to be special, they put his damn HS team on ****ing PPV TV, and he lived up to the hype. LeBron was ready for the NBA from day one, and while it took some time and he did the whole Miami thing, he took his shitty Cavs team to the finals in 07.. Sure it was the (L)eastern conference but T-Mac couldn't even get out of the first round over there either.. So... you know damn well that some teams would have probably traded their roster for LBJ even in 05. I mean that 07 team should have just been renamed to the LeBrons. On a side note, he sought out The Dream to train him in the offseason in '11 so this guy keeps getting better even today, I mean he continues to add to his skills yearly.
I'm not so sure on that, if lebron was playing in 09 when Yao went down in the Lakers series that went 7 games I'd give Houston a chance. I mean assuming they still got Artest, also Yao wouldn't have had to play as many minutes during the regular season, he played 77 games and like 36 a game since tmac was broken. If Yao's minutes were reduced since lebron would actually play instead of tipping trashcans over and being a diva, Rockets definitely had a shot, and w/ reduced mins he might have been able to make it through the playoffs, Especially w/ Adelman coaching.
yep... based on the fact it wasnt 100% for Bron says there has always been starstruck homers who overvalued their players and got insulted when anyone had the audacity not to be blindly enamored with their guy... lol I thought the 'Carroll Dawson: GM of the year' signature really drove the point home... lol
