Would you trade the #1 pick in the draft? If the offer was to hard to pass.

For the right price, sure, why not.

This draft is kinda weak, theres lots of guys who could turn out to be the best player of the draft outside the top 3 esp high ceiling guys like Ivey, Mathurin, Duren, Sharpe and my current fav Sochan.

So yeah I'd be ok trading the no 1 pick provided there's enough value. Like say 5,9+3 future frps from OKC's stash? I'd be down for that.

no way. this team's hard work tanking throughout the season needs to be rewarded with a #1 and not traded

If we think we can get our guy a couple spots down then sure. Worked great for Boston that one year.

    But that doesn't require a poll - that's a no brainer.

My guy really asked Clutchfans if they would make a decision, in the future, if there were options...

    ...and got 70+ responses. That's a W for OP.

Slow offseason and you could only debate top 5 order so many times before same argument gets regurgitated over and over again

    Yes, I'd trade it.

    Luka Doncic.
    Ja Morant.

There's my list. Not gonna happen. So...

I am really hoping for one of Jabari or Chet, probably in that order but I would be excited to add either.

If we had the #1, I would be open to trading down a spot or two. I don't feel so strongly between Jabari or Chet that I would be distraught at one over the other. It would have to be enough additional assets to make it worth it, but if I could pick up more and still get one of those guys, it would at least be worth considering.

agree to disagree. you value the #1 pick in this draft way more than I do.

Of course, if the offer was too good to pass up.

Not to be a jerk, but you’d have to quantify what kind of offer we’re talking about. Nothing is off the table, including JGreen, if the offer is good enough.

Mitchell can't carry and can't defend well either.
He lost two games to the lukaless mavs.

he's no Kobe or MJ, I get it. that's not the point. the point is, what are the chances the #1 pick in this draft becomes better than him? data will tell you 63% chance that the #1 pick becomes at least a 1x all star. Mitchell already surpassed that. but, you can argue age, salary, and fit are all in favor of the #1 pick so I'd say its a tossup. again, Mitchell's name got thrown in there as an example, but the point being any multi-time all star is likely better than the #1 pick will become, especially in a weak draft.

    Giannis
    Luka
    Morant

    maybe…

    Booker
    Jokic

No to pretty much everyone else. The only person maybe available if Denver finds out he’s likely leaving next year is Jokic. Even then I’d need assurances he’s resigning long term. Not gonna happen anyways and the best fit is still probably another young stud to pair long term with JGreen.

#1, next years #1 and Usman Garuba for both OKCs lottery picks.
That way we have 2 picks in the lottery and one just outside the lottery.
