As long as he's healthy at the moment, YES. Send Eddie back to the bench for some seasoning and pick up a free agent like Raja Bell of the Mavs, who is known for defense and looked impressive in the playoffs on both ends of the court. We'd have a very strong defensive team and if we brought Mobley off the bench, there would still be plenty of offensive firepower.
Not my insight -- I read it in NBA Insider. Chad Ford knows all (if so, why does he tell so many misleading things?).
Camby's offense isn't that bad, especially down low around the bucket. He's a great dunker. I wouldn't feel comfortable using him all the time as a starter, but he'd be one of the best 6th men around. The dude provides instant energy whenever he steps onto the court. So yes, I would trade Taylor for Camby and would ideally play Marcus for 25-30 minutes per game.
I don't think there's a single team in the NBA right now that wants any part of Mo Taylor, unless it's to get rid of their own deadweight contracts such as Austin Croshere.
I think you're one of a select few that would think that. I think Seattle would offer us something nice for MoT.
They could always arrange a 3-way, or send us a pick. I'm sure they'd love to have Mo at the 4. They went after him when he was an FA. I think Mo Taylor and Kelvin Cato could probably land us Anotnio Davis and a contract.
If we trade MoT we need to get a RELIABLE bruising backup PF. Hmmm... don't sound like Camby to me. The only advantage to Camby is his contract is shorter. Actually MoT is a really good compliment to Cato, the only problem is he is getting paid like a starter.
I don't think this guy has ever even played 40 games in any season, the whole time he's been in the league........... Are we really even discussing this.....or am I asleep at the keyboard again..........
In a second. I'd be willing to take the chance of injuries to get out of that contract two years earlier. Heck, after one year Camby would become good trade bait with an expiring contract.
