Good point. Kobe's better that's right but Tracy is a superstar too. I won't even Trade T-Mac for Kobe and we all know Rockets' organisation won't do it too.

T-Mac is a playmaker he can make his temmates better. He can score shoot or drive to the basket. Some of you said that Kobe can score 60. And what if he scores 60 and his team lose it would be good for you? Not for me. I wannat win 50+ more games and make at least 2nd round of the playoffs. T-Mac shows he can easily score 27 PPG but he didn't do that because of the start of the season. He think he was healthly but he wasn't. But you did see what he was doing when he was healthly and Yao was out.

Some of the people even said that Tracy is better than Kobe because of his playmaking and scoring ability. He was on probably 6th position in MVP Race (he missed 11 games) and he had only 24,6 PPG in the season. That shows you something too. I know in the next season T-Mac can easily score 26-27 PPG. He has WACO and I hope he'll stay healthly

this off season, alot good/great players might be available

kg/jo/carter/kidd/gasol/zach ...i think lakers have a good chance to land one and make kobe happy.

we have to be prepared, try to get one, we may have to give up battier

    forget Battier mate

for guys of the caliber you listed, we'd have to be willing to part with the likes of Mac or Ming.

Just say no to Kobe. He may be more talented than Tmac but he brings more garbage with him. I didn't particularly care for Tmac's cry "it's on me". But that's a far cry better than Kobe's, "It's all about me" attitude. This is a team sport and while you do need leaders primaddona leaders are rarely successful.

The Lakers won with Shaq and Kobe because Shaq (against Kobe's wishes) was the true leader. They both have egos but in the end Shaq will mostly winning ahead of his personal agenda whereas Kobe's personal agenda always comes first. Yao who is ready to take over the team leadership would now be relegated to Kobe's boy. I know it's not likely to happen but in case there is the infinitesimal possibility nip it in the bud and just scream No to Kobe!

I love TMac, but I've always thought Kobe was the best player in the NBA by far.

We should trade him for Lebron instead.

This is silly, of course you would trade Tmac for Kobe.

Heck, I would trade Tmac for any of the following players.

    Lebron
    Kobe
    Garnett
    Nowitski
    Nash
    Wade (pre injury)
    Carmelo
    Duncan

Lots of players.....IMO, Tmac is a great individual talent but lacks heart....until he starts showing some true sacrifice on the floor, he will always be....a poser.

I'll rather have an "all about me attitude" and win a championship than first round exits, backspasm, 'its on me' etc etc

I would do the trade in a heart beat and sell my Mac jersey on ebay

I would be equally happy if the Rox made this trade or if they brought Karl Malone out of retirement for a 4 year deal.

    Eff Kobe.

T-Mac isn't untradeable. But shouldn't we at least give the new coach a chance to figure out what he wants to do before we blow up the team?

I somehow agree, give him one more year, see what happens, but the chance of getting kobe might be never ever this close again, maybe :)

i think i would have to stop watching the rockets if kobe was on the team,...or someone will have to edit game tapes for me. You know...the little black box over his face.
