Of course, what we have right now doesn't work either.

At the very least, we'll have some excitement.

once again, kobe backtracked all of what he said about wanting to be traded on KLAC 570 AM here in LA. he wants to stay now. he'll give the lakers a chance.

What a drama queen. LA can keep his selfish ball hogging ass.

I don't why you keep posting that, once is enought imo.

beside, the thread is more about "are we willing to trade T-mac for kobe?"

I guess 90% possibility that Kobe isn't going anywhere. I listened all kobe talks in last 5 days. He is furious about the "insider" comment on LA times. He went nuts. Buss react like a turtle now since he still drunk and busy screwing chicks. But if Buss really can spend luxury tax for some solid stars, Kobe will stay in LA.

I love Kobe and he is the ultimate power on court, no one ever be so lethal, no one. If Rox can get Kobe for anyone, that will be the best steal in history (0.1~0%).

the thread popped up b/c we all thought kobe wants to be traded.

now that he wants to stay, what's the point? it's useless.

No offense, but hell yes...I"m a big T-mac fan, but Kobe is as special, if not more so...However, you still have the no supporting cast problem, so it'll never happen...

Kobe's a great player but he's a whining lil biatch!! He made his bed so now he has to sleep in it! He'll never win another title without a dominant center.

not if he goes to the East, he could get traded to the Bobcats and they'd have a shot at the finals

err what if 10 minutes from now he said he wanna leave? or 1 days from now, or 10 days from now? Honestly, majority of the fans here aren't gonna take what kobe said seriosuly.

If thread is really pointless/useless, the mod would lock it.

Some of you people are idiots. You say you want KG for all his heart and determination. He can't even make the playoffs right now. Kobe is supposed to be the best player in the league and has the "killer instinct" or whatever and he hasn't gotten past the first round since Shaq left. He blew a 3-1 lead last year and lost in 5 games this year. He can't win a first round series by himself and neither can T-mac or KG. This is a team sport and Rafer as a PG won't cut it. Smush is equal to Rafer and Kobe couldn't make that work. Kobe for T-mac in the absence of a starting caliber PG is a lateral move. Don't forget T-mac carried this team without Yao to a better record than Kobe carried his team to and our role players weren't any better than theirs. One man teams don't work and that is why T-mac, Kobe, and KG are in the same situation.

After read the ESPN news, Kobe in Hoston, it could be happened. Wow if the Rox has Kobe, the first round playoff win is not a question anymore.

dude, they wouldn't ask for Tmac, they'd ask for Yao.
Think about it. Kobe is a $$$ making machine for them. Yao is our $$$.
    Yao in LA? that's $$$$$$

Sadly, the answer has to be yes. I dislike Kobe as a person and I like Tmac. I love Tmac's game, but...Kobe's just on another level.
