I don't think I've seen a more obvious red flag than Zion in a long time

WTF - I wouldn't trade AS straight up for Zion. He's damaged goods.

He's actually got a lot of weapons but the question is, is he willing to do it? He's already behaving like a primadonna. I don't think he will be willing to be second fiddle to anybody. Just read on what Reddick said about him.

What about Green, Jabari, and Zion?

    Green, Chet, Zion?

    Green, Griffin, Zion?

Or trade Green. I'm on the fence, but I'm not against Zion outright..

Even if Zion lost weight, he has the worst lower extremity biomechanics in the entire NBA. So, you have this guy who just lost 50 lbs, but is still heavy with poor biomechanics exploding up and down the floor. The time it would take for him to put himself out of "injury prone" territory is so long that he'd be on to the next team "taking a chance on him".

Just find guys you see in your future, build around them, and develop them.

ive seen him do it a lot throughout his career thus far. The biggest question at this point is his health. the league is chalk full of primadonnas. He isn't the first and he isn't the last.

I thought Zion had eaten himself out of the league. Isn't he between 300 and 400 lbs."

Have to surround Zion with LONG defenders.

    Just like Green.

    Just like Sengun.

Green for Zion trade makes more sense than a Sengun/Tate/FRP trade for Zion.

But either option is not optimal.

As you said at the end, neither is optimal so I wouldn't even entertain either.

and i just said his health is the question. But since you seem to want to be specific, there's some primadonna's actually not playing right now

Pelicans are in a tricky situation. If they are even considering trading him that means he is done because no franchise will be willing to trade someone who at 20 was already scoring at an elite pace. So them merely even mentioning that a trade is a possiblity would plummet his trade value because that signals a red flag that he is done which means I wouldn't trade even Tate for Zion.

of course. Zion has mechanics of a Gollum is too fat and it would be ok if it wasn't for his unreal athleticism. there Is literally no way for him to stay healthy unless he drops like 20 kilo

I understand this. If you’re that high on him, you wouldn’t have any issue trading Green straight up for him

If there was no red flags about whether he can continue playing, absolutely. That's a obvious no brainer.

But if you read my post above, if the Pelicans are even considering trading Zion, that means he is done because a NBA franchise would never even consider trading a player of Zion's caliber at his age unless he is for all intents and purposes "done" which means I wouldn't trade Tate for Zion even.

5 pages into a Zion thread and no mentions of his awkward walking style yet??
