That's tough.... when Zion is healthy is one of the best offensive players in the league.

I would think about offering a package....

I love Zion. He has an amazing last name. But I'm terrified he'll never see a remotely healthy season. And that makes me very fearful of giving up real assets for him - and I know that's the only way anyone can get him. Somebody is going to risk it. I just hope it's not us. I got enough of having injury plagued stars to last a lifetime during the Yao/ T-Mac era.

I would trade our entire team for Evan Mobley, but not Zion.

Surprised at this poll. I understand not doing it, but if healthy Zion instantly makes us a young destination type team for free agents. I would probably take the risk and just hope he's been angling to get out of New Orleans more than anything.

If Zion's weight issue issue and future injury potential wasn't a concern, this would be a no brainer.

A healthy motivated Zion is a MVP level players in the future. But the key work here is "healthy motivated"

Voted no, but I would pull the trigger and accept the probability that Zion will eat his way out of the league because if it works out for him we'd have a very important player on the Rockets that we wouldn't get otherwise. Also, I don't view Sengun as highly as most.

I understand the cautiousness but Zion was almost unstoppable offensively when healthy.

Is it just New Orleans? At Duke I remember him playing through an injury because he wanted his team to win, despite most folks (non Duke fans) thinking he should shut it down.

Had health concerns for him before he came into the league. Still now.
    Would pass because of that.

Other than that he's obviously very talented

Maybe it means we can get Zion at a little bit of discount? All the other teams in the bottom 10, aside from Houston and NYC (who is the main competitor) are small market teams.

If we can keep the 2022 draft pick, I would consider it.

Sengun is a non starter for him. One of KPJ, Green I would do.
Wood, Ego and a protected first as well

Hell No. The buffet table pretty much cost Zion a few hundred million dollars.

Someone always wants to make it a Mobley thread to show they're unhappy with the Rockets.

Health concerns since day one for me, seems lack of work ethic is also an issue. Hard pass.

There is a good chance that one of the Wagner, Giddey, Kuminga guys is going to blow up too....so no need to just linger on Mobley and Cade.

This - agree Zion is a huge risk - maybe 20-50% chance he never makes it back, but he's an all NBA level player.

Evn a discounted iAll-NBA level player is worth more than Sengun, Tate, 2023, all of whom will probably never be all-NBA level.

    Why stop there?

The Rockets committed the error of the century by passing on Michael Jordan twice in both draft and trade - it's all anybody ever talks about on here.
