You’re not giving new information. You’re giving your opinions, then back tracking on them.

This started from the fact that Zion and Oden are similar in their first 3 years in games played. It then morphed into him not playing because you have a feeling he wants out of New Orleans. Now, it’s based on night life.
And you keep changing what is considered large market.
    You have no consistency

What have I back tracked on? Yes, I glossed over the fact Zion hasn’t played a single minute this season due to injury. I personally believe it is also due to him wanting out of New Orleans. None of it is based on night life, you just wanted to dump on my “hypocrisy” of saying Washington isn’t a big market, and I’m elaborating why they’re not. That is a completely separate argument that we have taken on a different road from the Zion argument.

Washington is over the 2 million threshold.
One of twelve teams in the NBA. So technically, 40% of the league is large market. With 60% having 1.5 mil plus.
    Washington has 40k less households.
They have to be large market if Houston is.
There is only black and white, no gray area.

If that’s how you want to think about big markets then I’ll concede. I just feel Washington has a wee bit of nuance being that it’s a political town without the appeal of your typical big market. The team has never really had good support either

    I’m not disagreeing with that.
I’m saying there are “large” markets that aren’t really “large” markets.
Houston and Atlanta don’t get large market treatment by media or players.

That’s fair, and I agree although I do think things are changing quick for Atlanta

    Hmm. Would i take Zion?
    That depends.
Is Keith Jones around? If he is. He can help speed up Zions early retirement.

Maybe John Lucas could help him with his vicious cycle?

That probably was not good for his fragile legs.

I don’t like Zion’s prospects for reoccurring injuries and don’t like what I’ve read about his attitude and work ethic. Also hear he’s not a great teammate.

I would also not trade our 2023 1st rounder for anything less than a healthy bonafide young star. We are highly likely to suck again next year and that pick is gonna be super valuable.

Another example of why fans would make horrible GMs.

Not sure if you're for the trade or against it, but yes, > 99.9% of fans would be worse than any current GM. Glad we have you as the .01%

Will be interesting to see where the Rockets land in the lottery. I would easily take Zion over Sengun/4+. Zion vs Sengun/Miller, slightly closer.

Over/under on Zion ever playing more than 30 games in a season again?

You don’t trade Alp and 4 for Zion. The dude is closer to being a bust than a superstar
