funny thing is the answer to your first two questions is yes. He was Turkish league MVP and won a championship so they have the same amount..
No as I said "real basketball, not that bullshit Euro stuff." Turkish basketball does not count for anything, it's not Euroleague. ****, Sengun's team aren't even a good enough team to play in the Euroleague, they play Eurocup which is a whole tier lower lmfao. So no, **** off with that bullshit.
I can’t stand watching Giannis play basketball, he’s unwatchable to me. But this is really a question? Seriously?
Nobody cares, those Mickey Mouse awards don't mean anything to anybody but Turkish people who think that bullshit's real basketball. Sengun isn't good enough to lick Giannis' shoes, he never will be. Seriously, cut the bullshit, Sengun is good, Giannis is a multi-MVP, finals MVP and champion in REAL basketball. Sengun can't even average 25 ffs.
My main concern is players that rely on athleticism usually don't age well. They are knee or back issues away from becoming washed. See Dwight or Westbrook. If its just Sengun mainly, then yes, if its more of our young players no.
Do you think Amen can play with Giannis? I would think if we got Giannis then we would have to get rid of Amen.
**** off you bell end, Sengun's a good player, he aint **** compared to Giannis. Go back to watching Besiktas and other crap basketball and leave this to the real fans.
You trade for Giannis if you already have a framework in place to contend. Boston had Paul Pierce and had recently traded for Ray Allen, both of whom were in their 30s. Trading for KG made sense because they already had two HOFs on the roster with and were in win now mode. Sengun plus what it would actually take to get Giannis is a no. We have no stars on the roster currently. After obtaining Giannis we'd have few trade assets left to improve. Giannis with no other stars here wouldn't win anything. We'd have a second round ceiling. Our other young prospects might have their best years ahead of them, but by the time they reach their prime Giannis' prime will be over.
Yes. 100%. I don't care about regulat seasons accolades. He's shrunk I'm the playoffs. 2 seed doesn't matter. Same b with Jalen. We need a Giannis or KD who can close games
You missed the point. When Giannis was 22 which is senguns current age he had none of those things and didn't average 25 either... Sengun has MVP potential, maybe not to you but there is world where I can see him winning one.
I've obviously changed my line of thinking. It's very frustrating watching us fail to adjust. I hope we add an offensive assistant
See, if you hadn't been so emotionally attached to a sh*tty player for 4 years, you wouldn't be throwing tantrums on a basketball forum now. But you all have come a long way from trading Sengun for a mid 1st round pick to trading Sengun for Giannis. So I won't rub any more salt in your wounds. Have a good one, dumbass, lol.
While I still wouldnt trade Sengun for Giannis, why does Sengun even have to be in the package? Rox have a smogasbord of picks those alone are better than what any other team can offer besides OKC and Spurs. We have PHX picks and swaps, the Nets 2027 pick and the Dallas swap. All those are projected lotto picks. We can also trade any combination of Tari, Jabari, Reed, Cam and Jalen. We even have expiring/unguaranteed contracts if Milwaukee wants to save money like FVV, Jock, Tate, Holiday and Jeff. Like why do we need to add Sengun to that mix? Unless OKC trades Chet we no one can beat Rox package. Nets: have no good young players, have 1 lotto pick in the upcoming draft and lots of low FRPs (NYK) Spurs: only has Castle as a good young player, have projected lotto picks c/o Atlanta, 2 lotto picks in the draft, their own picks and swaps OKC: have 2 amazing players, lots of low FRPs Rockets: 1 lotto pick in the upcoming draft, lots of good young players, lots of projected lotto picks+their own picks and swaps Rox can offer the best package even without Amen and Sengun. Personally I would offer Amen and Jalen before Sengun though, Amen and Giannis seems redundant both can't play center and both can't shoot. Sengun has shown he can play in a double big lineup so he can def play with Giannis.
It would depend on what the Bucks want with Sengun. I like Sengun a lot, but if the Rockets are going to take the next step into real title contention, someone out of their young core must become a superstar or they have to draft or trade for one. It just is what it is. Look no further than the Memphis Grizzlies for an example of what can happen to a good, young core that doesn’t have that guy. After flaming out in a sweep to the Thunder in the first round, there is talk of Memphis blowing it up. And they have Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane, who are 26 or younger. You can fantasize over Anthony Edwards forcing his way out of Minnesota and getting to Houston in the next few years, but the odds of that are remote. Giannis is a 6’9/6’10 fully-formed version of Amen Thompson. Players like him don’t come available every offseason, and he’s a realistic possibility for the Rockets this summer because the Bucks have little way to improve their team, and Damian Lillard tore his Achilles tendon. If the Rockets choose to stand pat, both Sengun and Amen Thompson should be locked in a gym this summer shooting a ton of threes and free throws every day. If either are to become that superstar, developing a three-point shot is critical. Right now, they are difficult to play together against good teams in the playoffs when neither is willing to take threes.
