You'd be replacing the best player on the team with a better player, but someone who can't score further than 3 feet from the rim....on a team with no quality scorers. Replacing Sengun for Giannis doesn't significantly improve the team as a result. Now, if we add Giannis next to Sengun, it could be a much better version of the Sengun/Adams lineup...which would be awesome. But losing your only quality player for a 31 year old potential upgrade for the last few quality seasons of his career is not a significant upgrade overall.
Where you at bro? You the dude who said if we had Ant we still would have lost the series? Did you stop smoking the pipe yet? You on the same level as pastor George. Need to be banned ASAP. Worst take I've seen this year.
I said it early that if Giannis is even thinking about Houston, Sengun's name is already in the deal. But when I brought that up? People lost their minds. Torches. Pitchforks. Like I was out here committing basketball blasphemy. Now folks are starting to connect the dots. You want Giannis? Sengun's easily includable. Always was.
He can't space the floor. The Spurs have slightly more leverage than the Rockets. Houston may have to overpay for him.
It’s gonna come down to if he wants to play for Udoka, train and be mentored by The Dream, and live in Houston.
Neither can Alpy Hence the idea behind trading one for the other. People ragging on Jalen for the playoffs (rightly) conveniently ignore that Alpy was our 2nd worst dude in terms of making shots. And a lot of the time it was because Alpy basically softed out and faded from contact rather than finishing through it. Green sacked So did Alpy. If we have the chance to upgrade either one of them for next, we totally should do it.
That would basically be uprooting the whole foundation that has been built over the last years for a ready-to-win Superstar, Championship or bust. It could work, yes, but even if it results in a C'Ship, for me, it would feel different.
It is completely feasible to trade Jalen, Sengun, FVV and picks for Giannis, Sabonis, and Lavine. Tell me that Amen, Lavine, Giannis, Jabari, Sabonis is not a top 4 lineup in this league, and still maintain a very good bench.
Okay sure, I'll tell you that. This is not a top 4 lineup in the league. This is not a real contender.
