    Reluctantly yes.
Easier to find a Center then a Giannis.

Tell me you don't watch basketball without watching basketball. Are you watching Giannis and how he's improved his mid range? LeBron still playing right? What about Durant? You remember Karl Malone? Giannis has at least 5 more years at a all nba level, that's the window. I believe the Rockets can do it with gutting the roster. Giannis would fit nice with Sengun and Thompson. Green has to go, you're probably gonna have to give up Smith, but reluctantly and Whitmore. The 2 picks this year and the 2 in 2027 should suffice

It would be a preposterously stupid trade. Their worst since Westbrook for Chris Paul.

The Rockets should see if their massive pick stash and young talent outside of Amen and Sengun can net Giannis. I imagine they would be looking to keep Fred, Reed and one of Jabari, or Tari.

The Suns picks are valuable- a lottery pick this year and no protections for 2027. The pick swap with the Nets is in 2027 valuable. The best pick swap between Dallas and Phoenix in 2029 could be really valuable.
They have *all* of their own picks after 2028.

The Rockets can offer young talent like Jalen Green, Cam Whitmore, one of Jabari Smith, or Tari Eason, vets like Dillon Brooks and Jock Landale for salary matching (and cutting).

There is no point in gutting the team to obtain Giannis to the point that he is in the same situation as he was in Milwuakee the last few years.

Sengun is not a just an ordinary center. And you're gonna have to find, tons, and tons of shooting to make the Giannis acquisition work.

It doesn't make sense. Eason, Thompson, and Sengun are all worse as players or moved to make it work. It's basically starting from scratch with a 30 year old Giannis and whatever preferable teammates to support it.

Giannis just made Lillard look like an ordinary all-star guard the past couple years after Lillard was as good as Curry in Portland, because he refused to make it work. He's gotten multiple coaches killed. Allowed them to make a terrible trade sending Middleton, who is still pretty good away to Washington for a terrible, abominable version of Kuzma.

Giannis is not easy to play with or coach. Getting him could easily set the franchise back a decade.

Devin Booker on the other hand, makes everyone better. And everyone can improve with time and play their natural game with him. And the title window is 5+ years with him.

Honestly, if we keep Amen and Alp I’m good with it. But, there’s going to be a big change in supporting cast because this team can’t shoot.

But….Giannis is nothing like Lebron, KD or even Malone.
His game is attack and dish, using god given gifts that decline.
KD and LeBron are far more skilled.

Brooklyn White is a troll account. He created it in 2017 and made absolutely no post on it until 4/28 then he went crazy with it posting mostly anti-Sengun post. It is someone's alt account created to use to troll one day. Whoever it is likely has many such troll account created for future trolling purposes. I put him on ignore.

Does Westbrook look less athletic? Funny you mentioned LeBron, who goes to the rim more than him? Again, have you not seen his huge improvement from mid range? Giannis will be a all nba player 5 yrs from now. His length isn't going to shrink and he's still a good passer. Again 30 12 6

In a Giannis trade, we would want to keep Jabari and Reed (shooters at least on paper) and Amen. I feel like Sengun would be the headliner, along with Eason, Cam, contracts, and picks. The Bucks don't own their picks so we could give them the Sun's future plus some of Dallas's. If the Bucks really want both Sengun and Green then sure but I feel they'd want the former and the Rockets can give Green another season and see how it works alongside with Giannis.

Honestly, I'm a little hesitant for making a huge offer for an uber athletic center that we'd be getting on the other side of his athletic prime.

I didn’t expect this kind of reaction. Honestly, I’ve tried to be respectful. I haven’t insulted anyone, haven’t crossed any lines. All I said is that Sengun is not the franchise player and it's an opinion I stand by. That’s it. And somehow, that’s turned into people trying to paint me as the bad guy, saying things that just aren’t true. It’s a little surreal. I’m not here to pick fights. I just thought we were all here to talk Rocketball.

I actually just came here to talk playoffs. That was the whole idea. I went to make an account, but it turned out I already had one from who-knows-when, so I just reset the password and logged in. Simple as that. I had no clue that doing something so ordinary would end up bothering people this much. If I’d known, I would’ve thought twice.

Can't believe this board is seriously debating whether you'd swap Sengun for Giannis. 35 out of 30 GMs in the NBA would do that, in nothing flat. OFC it would take a lot more than Sengun, so the question of how much more you're willing to give arises, but the idea that you'd hesitate at a straight up swap is just totally preposterous.

You wouldn’t believe the amount of heat I’ve taken for saying this. Just this. And the thing is, it’s not even some wild take, it’s pretty standard NBA logic.

Ask yourself. Replace Sengun with Giannis do we win the championship this year? I doubt we even beat GS, same result except now we’re down tradable assets and picks.

There’s really no point in getting Giannis if we can’t get a second star to pair him with.

    Booker + Giannis maybe ?
